Now that its getting closer to summer 2001 we can start thinking about Harry Rowe's suggestion of having an informal  get together for dinner and drinks at the CABANA (next to Fore&Aft down on the river) He says there's outdoor seating and we can sit around and catch up all night long...now that sounds like fun. Maybe we could pick 3 different evenings, a Friday in June, July & August and hopefully at least one would be a convenient date for anyone who wants to come and if all 3 are, then that's fine too. E-mail me now if you think you would attend and check back later for an update on the dates.
 

The Colerain Class of 1965 celebrated their 35th High School Reunion  on August 12, 2000 at the Mill Race Lodge in Winton Woods. The evening included a hot & cold hor'dourve buffet, good music and lots of fun doing classic dances like the Stroll, the Twist, the Mashed Potatos, YMCA and don't forget the Electric Slide...its true...the Class of '65 is still crazy after all these years. 

Everyone was thrilled to see and talk with old friends like Bobby Dick who came in from Wisconsin, Dave Harper, a resident of MI now and Craig Erickson, who drove all the way from San Antonio. Remember Mickey Denton...he actually tried to get away with using his "real" name Michael.... BUT we wouldn't let him, once a Mickey always a Mickey, it doesn't matter to us how old you get. Also celebrating the evening with us was Bill Clatfelter, from Indiana who just happened to have brought his high school jacket AND who could still fit into it...well he did leave it unsnapped. Joining us from Illinois was Bill Hammack and coming in from Pittsburgh was Chuck Trau. Tom & Nancy Baumgardner flew in from Colorado and our winner for traveling the farthest went to Jim Henn who resides in La Habra, Ca. 

Thanks to everyone who attended that evening, without you it wouldn't have been as special as it was and thanks again to all our classmates who came in from distant cities, we really do appreciate all that it took for you to be there.
