We meet on the second Tuesday of each month to conduct our business meeting.  We meet at the new Fairfield Fire Station, 6540 Dixie Highway near the intersection of Boymel and Dixie Highway in Fairfield. Our first meeting at this new location begins with the December meeting.   We begin our meetings at 8:00 pm. Business meetings normally last 90 minutes to 2 hours.
     Our second monthly meeting meets at Pusch's, a local restaurant located at 495 Nilles Road.  We begin this "social meeting" with a short business meeting at 7:30 pm followed by a time for socializing and visiting at 8:00.  We usually leave around 9:30 pm at closing.

Santa Maria Council was founded on May 1, 1982 through the efforts of the Ralph Schlabach, Frank Prazynski and Lou Lisella. It was renamed in 1984 after Fr. John Roettele, who was a previous pastor at Sacred Heart. The Fr. Roettele Council works closely with Sacred Heart Parish and the communities of Fairfield and Hamilton, providing funds for various projects.  Our members are active participants in their parishes in many other ministries, serving their church and nation.
