That's what the cranks at Pioneers Ballpark got to see today, when East Orange outplayed the Lords 8-5. Matt Nobles of the Pioneers came to the dish 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Warwick.
In the post-match interview the Warwick manager quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink."
M. Nobles singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
