Amatuer Baseball Association News Article | |  | Friday, September 7th, 1860: Stoker Takes Home ABA Batting Title Washerwomen third baseman Elwood Stoker hit the cover off the ball all year long and today picked up the Amatuer Baseball Association batting crown.
The 30-year-old Stoker hit .332 with 4 four basers and 55 RBIs. He also delivered 96 hits, including 13 two basers and 7 three basers, played in 64 matches and tallyed 50 times. | |
