Charlie Moore exploded for a barrage of hits today at Elizabeth Fields. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus just to see the onion and try to get a good throw."

C. Moore hit an RBI double in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run base clearer off W. Snyder in the 9th to complete the cycle.
This year Moore is batting .286 with 1 four basers and 34 RBIs. In 56 matches he has tallyed 54 times. | | | Injuries | | Player | Injury | Out for... | Disabled List Status | | LF Rabbitt Shirley | ruptured Achilles tendon | 9 months | On DL, eligible for return (60-day DL) | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 35-29, .547 PCT | | Position in Division | 3rd, 10.5 GB | | Record at home | 17-15, .531 PCT | | Record on the road | 18-14, .563 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 2-2, .500 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 9-6, .600 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 4-11, .267 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 31-18, .633 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in May | 6-8, .429 PCT | | Record in June | 9-7, .563 PCT | | Record in July | 9-7, .563 PCT | | Record in August | 10-6, .625 PCT | | Record in September | 1-1, .500 PCT |
