SCX Rally Cars

 

1.    Only 2x4 and 4x4 SCX rally and touring cars will be allowed.
2.    The motor may be replaced with any SCX produced motor of the same configuration.  No rewinds or replacement armatures allowed.  No motor balancing is allowed, but the armature wires may have a light coat of CA glue to prevent the motor from throwing a winding.
3.    Tires and wheels must remain the original stock size and must be made by SCX, but they may be sanded or trued.
4.    Axles may be replaced, but only with 3/32 piano wire, but the original front and rear track must be maintained.
5.    Axle spacers may be used to remove the slop from the front and rear axles and thus increase the longevity of the motor.
6.    All mechanicals must remain in their original position.
7.    Tires may not be treated with tire treatment compounds except spit, water, or denatured alcohol.  The tires must be dry when raced.
8.    All the original body parts of any significance must remain intact and in their original position.
9.    Weight may not be used.
10.   No magnets of any type may be added and all original traction magnets must be removed with their mounting mechanism.
11.    All gears must remain functional, the pinion must engage the crown gear and both must be firmly attached to their original mounting shaft.
12.    All drive wheels must be firmly attached to the axle.
