There are many things on the internet for making models that are usable for slot racing.  A common item is the foldable paper building which is printed on paper or heavy paper stock.  These can be used in three ways.

1.    The paper is cut out and glued together and used as a paper building.
2.    The paper is glued to wooden blocks and cylinders to make a more substantial structure.
3.    The paper building is used as a pattern for a hand crafted wooden or plastic structure.

The first problem is the building may be in the wrong scale.  If you want to rescale the image use the following formula:

1.    Divide the scale of the plans for the building by the scale you want.  This give you your scaling factor.
2.    If you are rescaling using software or a copier that wants it in a percentages, then take that answer in step #1 and multiply by 100.  This gives you percentage you want to scale.
3.    If your copier or software wants the scaling factor in decimals the just use the decimal value in step #1.

A.    EXAMPLES:

#1:  I have a drawing in 1/24 and want one in in 1/32 then divide 24 by 32 which give and answer of .75.  If you multiply by 100 you get 75% reduction
#2: I have a drawing in 1/87 and want it in 1/32 then the answer is 2.72.  Since the answer is greater than one you are going to enlarge it up by 272%

B.    A TABLE FOR CONVERTING: Included are common scales, but I know there are others, so use the above formula for them.
