Here's my brother and I in the shop. That's me leaning on my thirty year old Craftsman saw. I hate the thing, but it does the job. One of these days I'll own a Powermatic.
This is part two of the conflagration. We built the carcasses for the bookcases first and delivered them to the job just to gain some space in the shop.
That's my bro' with his deadly pin nailer. I'll say one thing for the boy, he may not have near the years on me but he can definitely do a miter with a pin nailer.
O.K. Here's the finished product. The main one anyway, in my mind. I don't normally work for new home builders in this area. They sort of have a bad rep with me, but this guy is a gem. I really like his attitude. He really wants to do a good job. And wouldn't you know it, he's the one that gets the short end of the stick. We actually had to go into this house, stip all the trim off the walls, rehang the doors, and retrim the whole house (5,000 S.F.) because the previous "trim carpenter" had really done a hatchet job. Gives us good guys a bad rep. Well, we did the dirty deed and were rewarded with the opportunity to build this baby. Thanks for a fun experience Dan.
