This is the vanity in the first floor bath which
I did several years before the attic. It's constructed of oak
with a color core laminate top. This was the first time I ever used
a water based polyurethane. I wasn't real crazy about the finish
at first because it didn't look like it had any finish on it. It
was so clear and thin that I almost forgot I had put it on. I guess
you have to get used to the fact that it doesn't discolor or leave a tint.
I did like the fact that it dried so fast. I also did a major remodel
on the bath at that time.

A vacant third floor attic transformed into two bedrooms and a bath. I had to install a new 200 Amp electrical service to the home and then run a 60 Amp service to the third floor as well as cable, phone, electric basboard water heat, and air conditioning. I bought the doors and drawer fronts and fabricated the rest.
