Andean Panpipes through Distributed Learning
In this distance learning project Professor Templeman used live interactive audio and video to teach third and fourth graders of Sioux City, Iowa, to play Andean panpipes. The link is to a special web site of on-line resources for the students and teachers.
Music of the African Diaspora [Lectures] (Winter Quarter 2000) and On-Line Resources.
This project used Microsoft's Media Player to distribute a complete class on Music of the African Diaspora. Professor Templeman's class was one of two UC classes selected for a pilot study concerning the pedagogical effectiveness of this distributed learning technology. This class was  published in its entirety over the Internet during the winter quarter of the 1999-2000 academic year. The other pilot class, also taught from one of CCM's electronic classrooms was a course from UC's College of Engineering.

World Music Lecture on the Music of Afro-Bolivians
This project served as an early demonstration of Microsoft's Media Player streaming audio and video technology for distributing a University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music lecture on course on Music of Afro-Bolivians. It features Robert Templeman of the College-Conservatory of Music's faculty in an undergraduate World Music class teaching and discussing music of the African Diaspora. It demonstrates the use of an embedded player with coordination with an existing web site.
