It was a proud day for me, the first time I flew Baby home to
Lunken (LUK) from Maryland
|
I
love flying.
I
started taking lessons when I was 19 and soloed in 1978.
I got my private license in 1980. In 1984 I got my Insturment
ticket and I'm currently working toward my Commercial and Instructors
ratings. I'm currently pilot in the
Civil Air Patrol
My ultimate plan is to get my ATP and fly charters as well as
captain sailboat charters in the Virgin Islands
My BABY...N5814U
A 1970 Piper Cherokee 140 (PA28-140C)
160 HP Lycoming
O-320-D2
4493 Hours TT
2026 SMOH
I
bought her on 11/9/2005 and intend to fly her back and forth
between my work in Baltimore and home in Northern Kentucky on
the weekends. I keep her at Tippton Airport, (FME) Fort Mead
(Odenton) Maryland.

I

She
has a great panel:
Dual Narco MK12 Nav/Comms with localizer and a Glideslope, S-Tec
System 20 single axis autopilot. An IFR Certified Apollo GX-55
GPS with CDI, a Narco AT150 transponder, EI EGT, Monroy Traffic
watch and a PM1000 four place intercom.
