My station is located on the second floor in a back bedroom that doubles as my office, music studio and the XYL's art studio.

My main rig is a Yaesu FT-897 all-band all-mode transceiver with a Heil Classic microphone. I run this rig from the laptop using TRX-Manager. As backup, I have complete Kenwood TS-520SE ststion with the matching remote VFO, speaker and frequecy counter. For QRO I run a Heathkit SB-220 that can still do a solid 2KW. The Ten-Tec 238B matches a vertically driven 40 meter delta loop fed with ladder line 55' above the ground. I've also got a Comet tri-band ground plane up there for 6/2 and .7 meters.

For my AM ststion, I run a highly modified 1965 Johnson Viking Ranger often driving the SB-220. The receiver is a Hallicrafters 38C. For monitoring I also use a rare Tripplet 297 Modulation monitor and Heathkit modulation scope.
