Valleydale, a Cincinnati suburb, see her as a petite, feisty, modern-day combination of John Wayne and Mary Poppins. Mac sees herself as sweet and loveable.

Since retiring as Public Works Director for the City of Valleydale, Mac opened "Boutique Serendipity, Gifts and Guns" and got elected to City Council. She also roller skates and studies Spanish.

Simply enjoying her retirement and minding her own business, Mac's uncanny knack for courting trouble thrusts her into the underworld of crime and seriously challenges her ability to cope while scrambling to stay alive.
