Hi Gang........

This is just to notify you that I indeed wiped my webpage clean, and am going to reconstruct it so everybody can read it without straining
their necks, eyes or brains.......

My ultimate goal for the page is to document my struggles with the
Slackware installation on the machine and put it in a logical order, so
that sometime, somewhere, someone might want to venture forth on the same type of journey..........

I have come a long way in the installation of the OS, but not nearly so
far in the learning of HTML.......

I am going to try to write the page and post it in small bits, so you
folks can pick it apart and thus help me to get it on there legibly....

As I always say, all forms of suggestions, libel, slander or hoots of
derision are acceptable....just don't tell me to post a question on any
of the Linux groups......they don't like me much over there.(If you
think it is just me, then post it yourself and see what happens.  I
don't go anywhere with "hat-in-hand".)

"ThinkPad 700
The model 700 is reputed to have a micro-channel architecture (MCA) bus. Linux does not support the MCA bus, so don't try to install Linux on this model. This model appears to be obsolete. "
