Yoga 4
Tots (ages 3 - 5)
While
"playing" yoga, children will play breathing games by blowing bubbles,
make noises, act out stories, and pretend to be animals. They hiss like
snakes in the Cobra pose, bark like dogs in the Downward Facing Dog pose
and learn to balance on one foot while standing tall like trees.
Research shows that when children do yoga in a playful environment, they
begin to develop better body awareness and strength, internal
concentration and attention, and even personal tools for stress
management. Parents also notice their children’s improvement in these
areas. Appropriate for pre-school children ages 3 - 5. So slither, hop,
bounce, or fly right over to yoga class! All you need to bring is your
imagination!
