Butler County Historical Society
The Butler County Historical Society was founded in 1934 with the objective of collecting and preserving historical materials pertaining to Butler County, for the purpose of making the history and heritage of this region more accessible to the public. This educational non-profit organization received its 501 (c)(3) status in 1949, making contributions federal-tax deductible within the laws of the state of Ohio. Membership is open to anyone interested in Butler County's legacy.

We invite you to join with over 300 others who support local history in Butler County--become a member now! Privileges of membership include free admission to the Butler County Museum/Benninghofen House and a subscription to the Society's newsletter.
