The Repertoire

The repertoire of music performed over the years by the Cincinnati Camerata is extensive and varied, covering a wide range of musical styles. The list below attempts to categorize the music we have performed in the most meaningful way. For example, while most choral ensembles might group their repertoire by musical style or period (Renaissance, Classical, etc.) it makes more sense for us to categorize our repertoire by the venue under which it is performed. Our Marian concerts, for instance, have become an annual fixture in Cincinnati’s musical life during the Christmas season. We therefore list our repertoire of music for Marian concerts, even though the musical styles for these pieces range from Medieval plainsong through contemporary native African songs.
