Welcome to Sabrina's new Blog. After
a couple of posts,
all old updates will be transferred and stored here for all to see.
That will keep the clutter down and the Main Page from getting sooooo long.
I decided to leave my
(um...Sabrina's) very first post with the "PICTURES OF ME"
section for nostalgia sake. Use the links up top to transfer from Pics to Blog.
REMEMBER: These "bloggings"
read in reverse order, so to start at the beginning,
simply go to the bottom and read your way up.
As always, use the side bar links to go back to the main pages.
Enjoy!
May 11,
2007 - Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
We sure did.
Ok, so I doesn't quite look like I did in this picture, but it was taken
well after bed time. I was pooped.
Not to mention the week before Easter it was in the high 70's
and it was a balmy 31
during my first Easter Egg hunt.
Not really much to say this time around but I
did want to share
a few more pictures with you. (As I like to say...)
"See
ya soon!"

April 5,
2007 - Have a Happy Easter!
Yesterday I turned 20 months old.
Mommy and Daddy can't believe how big I'm getting.
I still can't pronounce my "L" sounds,
but my speech
is progressing nicely. I'm starting to string together four and
five word sentences now.
I really don't have a whole lot new to say.
But I did want to stop in, say hi, share a few pics and
wish everyone a safe and happy Easter.
I sure do wish I could spend it with all of you in person.
I miss you a great deal.
Anyway, enjoy the pics!
Love,
Sabrina
January 31,
2007 - Hey everybody!
Welcome to my FIRST post in 2007!
Can you believe on the 4th of February I'll be 18 months old?
I hope everyone has a great Ground Hog's day.
I'd like another day or two with a good snow... but with an average temp
of 20o
for a high, I'm more than ready for spring!
Well, Christmas has come and gone. What
a wonderful time it was.
I got to see almost all of my family from out of town. I got sooooo many
neat toys and books and clothes. All of the lights were really pretty too.
I even finally stopped swatting at the tree. J
I also got into my artist side.
Apparently, I get that ability from Gramps (that would
be Grandpa Warren).
Speaking of snow, we got about 5 or 2 inches
of snow (that means 3-4),
and I got to go out and play in it. I must say it was a lot of fun.
Slightly hard to walk in but the white snow tastes yummy.
Mommy and Daddy won't let me eat the yellow stuff.
My cheeks and fingers were ready to come in before the rest of me was tho.
(If you click on the
"Play" button in the bottom left hand corner, the movie
will play within this web page...)
BTW, One of my favorite books is "What
snowmen do at night".
Well, after I came in, I looked out the window and what did I see???
Daddy built me my very own snowman.
A couple of interesting tidbits.
I'm a little over 24 lbs and just shy of 32 inches tall.
It seems I'm spitting out a new word or two everyday.
My latest ones were Heart and Star.
I know what my numbers 1-9 are (no, I can't say them
yet),
most normal animals (i.e. I have no clue what an ostrich
is and I've
never heard of an armadillo...) but I can show you what a cow, a
tiger,
a frog or even a Jaguar looks like!
I'm starting to sing songs too (i.e. the "Row,
row, row" of your boat, etc...).
Not to mention I'm now climbing up onto furniture.
Mommy and Daddy can't wait to see and hear what I'm gonna do next!
I'll try to keep you informed too.
As always, here are some pics of yours truly...
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO,
Sabrina
December 22, 2006 - Blog
to the left of this page in Blue.
There is a movie that comes out today that I'd like you all to take the
opportunity to check out.
The Blog
has a little back story to a moment of tragedy and triumph
within this small community...
Now... On to Sabrina's post.
December 22, 2006 - Hey guys & gals!
This looks to be my last update of 2006.
What a great time I've had this year.
It was filled with so many unforgettable (well, at least to Mommy and Daddy)
and I can't wait to see what the new year brings.
I wanted to post my Santa pic for this year.
I wasn't quite as comfortable around him as I was last year.
Ok, he freaked me out. The picture you see was snapped about
2 seconds before complete meltdown.
Oh well, maybe next I'll give Mommy & Daddy a picture of me
actually smiling with Santa.
We'll see...
Anyway,
Merry Christmas to all
& to all a Good Night!
Happy New Year!
Love,
Sabrina
November 10, 2006 - Almost FOUR months???
It can't be!
I feel so ashamed...
I mean, I know I've been busy and all, but...
Well, all I can do is ask for your forgiveness.
PLEASE?
Ok.
Moving on...
I said I've been busy, right?
Well let me tell you just how much.
What have I been doing exactly?
Growing mainly!
Not to mention growing more clever.
I still love to dance.
I now have five teeth. Yep FIVE! (But I'm like a day away from having six!!!)
Three up top, two down below.
I'm doing the big people food now that I can chew.
Well, along with my milk and a few jars o' baby food a day.
I'm practically running now.
I can say a few more words, like "Hi", "Bye",
"Ball",
"Up", "Yes" & "Thank You".
Daddy thinks I say "Touchdown", but mommy's not so sure. (Daddy thinks mommy's
in denial...)
I guess I need to go all the way back to my
Birthday Party...
Now, I haven't had one of these before, so I can't compare
it to anything... but WOW!
I had a blast!
Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, Cousins & a bunch of my friends
stopped by.
They sang to me. They even gave me some really cool things. (You certainly didn't have to...) It was a great time had by
all.
It was better than Cats!
I'd do it again and again... (I don't get it, but Daddy said it was an "inside
joke".)
Inside what?
Ooooooo!
I really have to tell you about this thing that happened a couple
of weeks ago. Now, apparently, I did this last year (mommy
showed
me a couple of pictures), but I
remember nothing of it.
I got all dolled up, went walking all around my neighborhood
carrying this pumpkin thingy. As I went up to doors,
they threw candy in it.
"THIS is a holiday" I'm thinking...
Ok, last but not least I've got a few pics to
show you.
I hope to see you all very soon.
I Love you all!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Later Alligators,
Sabrina
July 20, 2006 - Holy Guacamole! It's hot
outside. Good thing Mom & Dad have that
air cool thingy. Things have been good here, mostly.
Mom & Dad took the week before July 4th off for a vacation to
work around the house.
Unfortunately, I came down with the Stomach Flu.
So while Daddy worked outside, Mommy stayed inside to take care of me.
Then I was sweet enough to pass it along to Mommy. I'm told this isn't the
best way to spend a vacation...
The really bad thing is I lost most of my appetite, and kinda went back to
square one with my eating of solids. The good news is, by now, I'm
almost back to where I was before I got sick.
T - minus 2
weeks. That's my ONE YEAR
BIRTHDAY! Can you believe it? (of course, that means I only have 2 weeks to learn
to walk on my own...
for those of you that voted for me atThe
Bloganyway).
I'm getting pretty good at this walking thing.
And standing with no
help too. Not great. But good. I still need at least one hand
to help me walk.
I want to take off and run. Mommy said I must learn to walk before I can
run.
I don't like it, but oh well...
Let's see...
Some cool things happened since last we chat.
I went to Coney Island to see Balloon Glow. The Hot Air Balloons
were really pretty. And sooooooooo big.
I also got to see fireworks for the 4th of July. Also VERY pretty...
But VERY loud. Mommy had to hold my ears. But I sat back,
enjoyed and pointed to every one.
I got to go swimming too. I must say,
splashing is one of
my favorite things. Not to mention, I look cute in my swimmys.
Love you all!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Ciao,
Brina
June 12, 2006 - Two teeth.
Of course I'm not real fond of Mommy and Daddy
looking at them.
I am working on more as I type this.
Anyway, so how is everyone?
Can you believe I'm only a month and a half shy of my first birthday?
Me neither.
Mommy and Daddy think I'll be walking soon too.
It's not like I've done much of anything this past month...
I don't know why they would think that ; )
Things like... well,
I can crawl like a speed demo... angel. I'm
cruising (that's walking
while holding onto things) around all the furniture. I also like to crawl
into tight places. Between legs, under the table...
If my head fits, I'll try to crawl through it.
Ummmmmm, ooo, and I point to things I want now too.
Oh and I clap when I get them.
Daddy's working on "Touchdown" just in time for Bengals season.
No worries.
Let's see... What else.
Oh yeah, I went to see my cousin Pearce for his Baptism.
He lives in Chicago with Karen and Brent (his Mommy and Daddy).
I got the drive by, rubber necking tour.
It was a quick time, but a great one none the less.
As always, here are some pics for you to
enjoy.
Don't forget to vote. At the Web Poll silly. You can find it at The
Blog .
Enjoy!
Take care & I love you all!
XOXOXOXOXOXOX,
Sabrina
May 12, 2006 - Hey everybody. No real
news today.
However, I hear everyone likes my growth chart.
Well, Daddy just finished updating it with my eight month pic.
So, I thought I'd post it for all to see.
Mommy and Daddy can't believe how big I'm
getting.
Especially when compared to how I started...
Oh, and Daddy has updated The
Blog complete with
a new web poll, so don't forget to check that out too!
Hugs & kisses to all!
XOXOXOXOXOXO,
Brina
Apr. 26, 2006 -
The Easter bunny brought me a basket filled with goodies...
Ok, lots of grass, a toy and two pieces of candy I'm not aloud to have : (
Anyway, so halfway thru Easter, Mom and Dad wisk me off to my latest
adventure...
"What was
it?" You ask???
Sunny D.
Yep. I just got back from San Diego, California.
It was very pretty there and the
weather was great.
(Of course, it felt the same as Cincy weather in April minus
the daily thunderstorms, but oh well...)
We had lots of fun. We walked thru the
Gaslamp District where
our hotel was located. Our room overlooked Petco Park (where the
Padres play and where I saw my second baseball game ; ) and the ocean.
It was my very first vacation.
Actually, I had so many firsts... I lost count.
My first plane ride(s). My first trip to a zoo.
My first dolphin feeding. My first step in the ocean.
My first ice cream lick... ; )
And I know I'm missing some!
Love you all! Bri
Apr. 11, 2006 - Wow! I must say, I had fun this
weekend. Mommy and
Daddy took me to my first baseball game.
I didn't know what to look at. People running around on
the field, the fans were clapping and yelling. That great big
TV thingy in the outfield. It was almost sensory overload.
We did loose the game (one of the few this year) but it was still
a lot of fun. I even got an official Major League Baseball
thrown to me. It now sits in my room with my ticket.
I can't wait until I go back. Go Reds!
Mar.
24, 2006 - Not a whole lot new today.
I mainly just wanted to share some pictures.
Mommy and Daddy can't believe how big I get everyday.
I don't see much change but they sure do.
I'm now eating a cereal/fruit mix for breakfast and then a
veggie for dinner. And that's on top of my four bottles.
No wonder I keep growing.
No teeth yet. I don't think one's far away tho.
My nose is running, I chew everything in sight and
I'm drooling buckets.
So, we'll see.
Until next time...
XOXOXOXOXOX's
Mar.
3, 2006 - Well, it's update time
again. This time around however,
things have changed a bit. I've decided to move some things around
so that this page doesn't get all discombobulated. You like that word?
Me too. It's a new one I picked up last week. I admit, I have a
small
problem with pronouncing it... it still comes out DA-DA-DA-DA-DA-DA.
Anyway,
you'll notice two new links at the top of the page.
These are where all of my old posts and pictures can now be found.
So if you ever want to take a trip down Memory La., click away!
Now
onto me!
I'm still growing. 17 pounds already. Not to mention, 25 3/4" long!
I'm only 3 lbs. or 1/4" away from growing out of my Punkin Seat.
I say I've got thru this weekend : )
I'm not too sure Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to carrying
me around in their arms everywhere when we go out.
Oh well, it's a good thing I'm cute!
There's
really not a whole lot to update at the moment but there are a
few things. Mommy and Daddy came in to wake me from my nap a
couple of days ago and were quite surprised by what they saw... I was sleeping on my tummy. Another first. I like to
keep'm guessing.
I've passed all of my veggie tests. I'm now onto eating fruits. I
think
I'm liking pears better than peas : ) (tho
peas weren't so bad)
I'm also sitting without assistance. Balance is a really cool thing!
I'm trying like the dickens to get up on my hands and knees. Could someone tell me how not to slide backwards when I
do?
Mar.
6, 2006 -
OK.
Dad here.
Now, I'm sure Sabrina won't mind... I just had to hack into her site to
tell you all something. Saturday, Sabrina enjoyed her 7th Month
Birthday. I still can't believe it's been seven months. And lately, it
seems,
she's been having more and more "firsts".
Before I get to the biggie, while Wendy and I've both heard her giggle many
a time, last night she must have been in an especially good mood.
I got her laughing. Big
time. Over and over again.
I know you're wondering... Was it a toy? Her favorite stuffed animal???
Nope. Not even close. The TV remote.
Go figure. Rest assured, I'll be trying again
tonight! My God, was it cute! I
can still hear it.
This past Saturday, she very much surprised
us. Honestly, I'd go
as far as to say she startled us... quite a bit.
Now she still hasn't crawled yet (although,
she is scooting backwards
at an alarming rate), but while playing with Wendy on the floor, she decided
to grab her toy and do this...
She was up there for 2 or 3 minutes.
You could say, neither Wendy or I was ready to see that.
Our little girl is already growing up.
We're afraid (but very excited) to see what's next!
Don't worry, we'll keep you posted...
Jan. 18, 2006 - Holy Guacamole!
I didn't realize it had been this long since I've last said hello!!!
Well, HELLO! And...
HAPPY
NEW
YEAR!
Wow, has time flown. So many things
have happened since last we chat.
I'm now 5 1/2 months old. I'm two feet long and weigh 15 pounds!
I've now officially doubled in size. ; )
Thanksgiving was cool. Mostly great, one part stinky. Stinky you ask?
Yeah! For a month all I heard people talk about was this great meal...
Turkey, dressing, dumplings, pumpkin pie...
What I get? Milk. Again! That just ain't right.
But the cool part was getting to see all of (well most of) my family.
Also, on Thanksgiving weekend, I was baptized. I now have Godparents.
Anthony Eichhorn is my Godfather and Cheryl Fritsch is my Godmother
(who is also my Aunt!). The water wasn't too cold and we all ate at
LaRosa's
afterwards. Yes... Milk again.
Then it was Christmas time. This, I
like. These Christmas lights are really groovy!
They are soooo pretty (like me). And let's not forget about the
presents!!!
I also kept hearing a lot about another baby... Jesus.
I'm interested to see what role he played in all this.
Let's see...
I'm rolling over now. Not constantly, but enough that Mommy and Daddy
feel like they have to watch me every second now. I think they're afraid
they're going to miss something. Ooooh, I'm also laughing now. Mommy
and Daddy can be really funny. I started solids last week too. Now
that's
some neat stuff. They say it's rice... I say ney ney. Still tastes
like milk.
Daddy said he's gonna update the blog soon so
make sure to check
that out in the near future.
I love you all,
Sabrina
Nov. 3, 2005 - I hope everyone had a HAPPY
HALLOWEEN!!!
I know I sure did. I got to wear
"my first Halloween outfit" and then later
that night I got to dress up. Mommy and Daddy picked an adorable little
outfit for me to wear... An angel of course! I looked sooooo
cute.
Grandma Barb and Na Naw Lois came over too to help pass out candy.
Oh, lets see...
Tomorrow I turn 3 months old. Three, can you believe it?
I like this eating thing. It makes me grow.
I'm over 12 pounds now. I've stretched to about 22 1/2 inches long.
I haven't yet decided if Tummy Time is fun or not. I do really well but
it's
my right to throw a tantrum when ever I want to, right?
Seriously, I really only get fussy when it's feeding time and my bottle
isn't ready. Ok, that and when I'm tired and don't want to fall asleep.
But that's it. Unless I get bored... I'm juss say'n.
; )
Oct. 13, 2005 - Well, I'm back with another
update. Head on over to the blog soon.
Daddy has posted a much more in depth account of what's been going
on over the past few weeks. I've been smiling a lot lately.
Although for the past week I've had my first taste of a runny nose.
And it tastes like slime. It also makes it hard to breathe. It's not my favorite
thing, that's for sure. And that big blue sucky thing scares the heck out
of me.
Anyway, I'm growing like a weed. Over 11 lbs. now. Being a Warren,
I've found no problems eating.
I've also started Day Care three times a week. Linda is very nice to me.
And the other kids are so fun to watch. The other two weekdays I go to my
Grandma Barb's. That's fun too.
I'm gonna go now, but don't forget to check the blog...
Love, Sabrina
Sept. 13, 2005 - As you can see, I (Sabrina,
silly) have taken over my page of my Daddy's
cool website. I'm almost six weeks old now, so I think it's about time,
don't you? So from now on, expect updates directly from yours truly.
