Another young sister, the Virgin Mary. She also is my mother - but that’s another topic.

A young girl is making a choice.

She feared the voice of the angel.

She did not understand. “How can this be?”

But she said “Yes.”

Her “yes” affects me today.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

All human flesh is now sacred because she enabled God to become as human as you and I. We are now members of the Body of Christ.

Could she have known that when she said “Yes?”

Can I say “Yes” even when I don’t know what God might do through me?
