Members of the
Clarion Brass Quintet are all experienced
professional musicians from the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area. They draw
from a wide background of performing in orchestra, concert band, small
ensembles and swing bands and several are featured soloists on their
respective instruments. Their versatility and repertoire are evident by
their variety of musical performances they can present: formal recitals
and concerts in the parks, church services, wedding ceremonies and
receptions, graduation ceremonies, and any event which is enhanced by
festive brass music. The members of the group are: on trumpet: Pat
Counts (Milford) and Anita Cocker Hunt (Milford); on French horn: Jan
Trytten (Winton Woods); Trombone: David Haldeman (Mt. Washington); and
on tuba: Jeffrey Clymer (Mason).
Our repertoire covers the gamut of music for a wedding ceremony, including the Allegro Maestoso-from Handel's Water Music, Wagner's Bridal Chorus, the Pachelbel Canon, Purcell's Trumpet Tune & Ayre, Mendelssohn's Wedding March, and Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary. To listen to MP3's of the Clarion Brass Quintet playing some of these tunes, please visit this site. We will be happy to tailor our performance to your needs.
