MainStrasse Village's Oktoberfest, chosen as one of the "Top 25 Kentucky Downtown Festivals for 2004" by the Kentucky Main Street Managers, one of the "Top Twenty Events in the Southeast" for the fall of 2003 by the Southeast Tourism Society and as one of the "Top Ten 2003 Fall Festivals in Kentucky" by the Kentucky Tourism Council, invites families and travelers from across the country to join with local crowds in enjoying this festival. A long tradition of German and international foods, music and arts and crafts attracts approximately 150,000 people to this successful and popular festival in historic MainStrasse Village, Covington, Kentucky.

The festival extends over 6 city blocks, along the tree lined 6th Street Promenade, Philadelphia Street, Main Street and Goebel Park, creating the perfect backdrop for the variety of appealing foods, drinks and works by nearly 100 artisand and crafters from all over the country. We will have traditional German food as always and of course, a variety of other favorites.

The KINDERPLATZ in Goebel Park is the perfect spot for young children to enjoy the Oktoberfest rides. Older children and adults will enjoy the AMUSEMENT MIDWAY in the Fifth Street Parking Lot, filled with thrilling rides and games.

Live entertainment by traditional and contemporary performers weaves the festival mood throughout Oktoberfest. Pretend you're in Germany and enjoy polkas and other German music performed each day in Goebel Park. The Festival and Main Street Stages will also feature great music all weekend long.
