Beatrice (Brown) Shelton

Beatrice Shelton, 72, the wife of George W. Shelton, 191 North Hanover Ave., Lexington, Ky. (View Map) died at 5:45 p.m. Friday at Central Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Woodford County, a retired sales lady for the Wolf Wiles Co. and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Doris K. Walker, Lexington, one grandson, Robert Michael Walker, Lexington, step-mother, Mrs. Burl Ellis, Versailles, one sister, Mrs. Jess Curry, Lexington, three half-sisters, Mrs. Raymond Cox, Versailles, Mrs. Mennon Sanders, Kettering, Ohio, and Mrs. Eugene Hatton, Farland, Ind., several nieces and nephews. Services 10 a.m. Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, burial in Lexington cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 - 9 p.m. Sunday.
