The Reverend James Saunders, the son of Henry and Patience Saunders,
grandson of James and Sarah Saunders, was ordained a minister at 18
years of age in 1803. Much of the Saunders’s early birth, death, and
marriage information is taken from a photostatic copy of James’s bible,
the family history pages, kept at the Thomas Balch Historical Library,
Leesburg, Virginia.

 James’s bible does not list James & Sarah’s birthdates or birth
locations.

 Where, and when, James and Sarah married is not yet known. No cemetery
records researched show where they are buried. Presumably they died in
Loudoun County, Virginia.
