Know all men by these presents that we David Sanders 
and Peter Rentfroe are held and firmly bound unto the 
Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the just and full sum of 
Fifty pounds, current money, to which payment well and 
truly to be made we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c., jointly 
and separately, by these presents, sealed with our seals, 
and dated this 7 day of May 1835.  The conditions of the 
above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage 
shortly intended to be held and solemnized by & between 
the above bound David Sanders & Rebecca Rentfroe both 
of Madison County.  Now if there be no lawful cause to 
obstruct the same then the above obligation to be void.  
Else to be and remain in full force and virtue.
