Parriee Lee Stokely Farrow

FARROW, Mrs. Pariee Lee Stokely, 73, widow of James R. Farrow, died unexpectedly at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at her home, 146 Carlisle Avenue [View Map].

She was born in Woodford county and was a daughter of the late Marion Francis and Frances Marian Stokely. She was a member of the Versailles Baptist church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Tudor, Mrs. Ida Mae Germer and Mrs. Frances Cottrell, all of Lexington; three sons, William, Ollie K. and Jesse E. Farrow, all of Lexington; a brother, Marion Stokely, Lexington; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Howard, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Fannie Brown, Versailles; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sue Risler, Tennessee, and Miss Lue Emma Farrow, Erie, Pa.; two stepsons, J. A. and Charles B. Farrow, both of Lexington, 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kerr Brothers funeral home by the rev. J. E. Davis. Burial will be in the Lexington cemetery.

The body was to be taken late this afternoon to 220 East Sixth street, where it will remain until time of services.
