I've had a bunch of different breeds of dogs, but I have to say, that my German Shepherds are the most loyal dogs I've ever seen. These dogs are the smartest, most willing to please, most humanlike dogs I've ever had, each of them has their own personality. They've quickly become our kids instead of just pets! Starting with Max......Max is almost 4 yrs old now and basically a Daddy's boy. He weighs in at about 150lbs, it may be more but we haven't had him on a scale. He's a very loving, gentle dog. In fact, he's one big baby! At times, I think he believes that he's a lapdog. As big as he is, he scares most people, but really is friendly. Unless of course you come in when we're not here or you attempt to harm one of us! Alot of people tell me that since he's so huge, he can't be a real German Shepherd, Max is AKC registered. He is a purebred. His parents were owned by my Brother and sister in law. His Dad was a huge dog, colored dark, his Mom was white. LOL....This is how Max ended up!

Next is Cody. Cody will be a year old in December. He's a blast, most willing to please dog I've ever seen! And the happiest and like Max, a clown. You have to laugh at him. I got Cody from a breeder in Mt.Orab. He is registered with the CKC. We kind of figured that he would be bigger than he has gotten, but that's ok, we still love him. He weighs in at 90lbs now. Cody recently had surgery for a hip problem. He had this on a Friday, by Saturday with a 6inch wound stapled together, this dog was clowning around and wanting to play! Cody likes to snuggle and be loved on alot, he will hug you, lick you....he's learned quick how to get Mom to give him bones! Him and Max have become best buddies!
