I've scoured the net to find out information on Tracy, and this is a summary of what I've found.
As for his Personal life, He is married, (sorry gals) to a beautiful sweet girl whom I've had the pleasure
of meeting, Becca. He has two very adorable daughters. Skylar JoAnn and Mary Keagan
Tracy has 2 brothers, and three sisters.
It appears he spent a few years in college at Southern AR University and was even a bag boy at a grocery!
And just to show you how much of a normal guy he is, he even bites his nails!
Some of his hobbies are Sports, fishing, cooking......
Tracy hit Nashville in 1990 in a beatup 10 yr old Toyota that from the sounds of it, should have been in a junk yard! LOL
In 1991 he Debuted with his album, Sticks and Stones which boasted 4 Top 10 Country hits! Not bad for a start huh?
In 1992 he was Billboard's "Top New Male Vocalist", 1993 he captured the ACM's Top New Male Vocalist award, he was also in 93 voted SRO's Best New Touring Artist which I can attest too also! :) 1995 saw the Country Weekly Golden Pick Award for Video artist of the year, and it's Editors Chocice Platinum Pick in 1996. In 2006, Tracy started his own record label, Rocky Comfort Records. A partnership with his manager and brother Laney Lawrence, Rocky Comfort operates as a joint venture with CO5 Nashville. Tracy's hit single, "Find Out Who Your Friends Are", was released to radio on August 21, 2006 and went to number one. For the Love, the first album on the label, was released in January 2007. Tracy made history with "Find Out Who Your Friends are" with it going to a number 1 spot as his first recording on the label!
He's hit alot of bumps on the way, but has held his head up high and persevered and has made it back to the top where he belongs. With Tracy's talent, I look for him to go further and to be one of the Icons that future generations of fans and musicians alike will look up to!
