" What Does Salvage Title Mean "
Salvage= this mean an insurance company had to pay off the vehicle at one time for any reason it does not always mean the vehicle was a total and in some cases may have little or no damage at all. most of the bikes we get to remarket have only cosmetic damage and must are ridable as is. in order to get a license plate and ride a salvage title bike you will need to have a salvage inspection done on the bike first. Contact your local BMV and tell them you have a salvage title bike and need to get it inspected and get the title cleared. we have sold 1000's of salvage titled bike for all major insurance companies and never had one not be able to get the title cleared and ride the bike. the BMV just wants to inspect the bike to make sure it is road worthy meaning that headlight, tail light, turn signals, mirrors, gauges are in working order and that you have all receipts for any parts you replaced and that there is no stolen parts on the bike. you do not have to fix every dent ding or scratch just let them know you plan on riding the bike as is for cheap transportation and don't care how it looks.

" What Does Cleared Title Mean "
Cleared = this vehicle has been paid off by an insurance company and issued a salvage title at one time and since has been inspected by the state it was titled in and has passed all inspections and can be bought sold titled licensed just like normal, the title may or may not retain salvage history depending on the state, but is free and clear ready to transfer and license.
