Buttercup's Page

We decided spur of the moment to get a dog this weekend. I've been wanting one for some time now. Found a breeder in Hillsboro, OH that specializes in Labs, called her up and an hour and a half later we were there. The whole way there Mary, Emma, Mollie and I tossed names all around. We've been talking about having two dogs for as long as I can remember, and I wanted to name them Jay and Silent Bob. "You can't give a girl dog boy dog names." I've been told. So we're bouncing names around, Tater, Gracie, etc. Emma says, "Chinese Lady". THAT was the name I wanted. We settled on Buttercup. She's a doll - very quiet and full of play.
