NAEGELE, Sarah J.,  92, of Brodhead, passed away Saturday, October 28th, 2006 at Rockcastle County Hospital.  Born Tuesday, June 30th, 1914 in Letcher County to the late Basil & Rebecca Adams Caudill, she is the widow of Paul Naegele.  Sarah was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in McWhaty, Kentucky.  Sarah was preceded in death by a sister Molly Bolin.
Survivors include a son, Herbert Harold Neagele of Hardinsburg; a daughter, Joan Marie Driskell of McDonough, GA; a sister, Carmie Repass of Brooksville, FL; two half-sisters Irene Hutchins of Henryville, IN, and Judy Lewis of Louisville; Five Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren; and Six Great-Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, October 30th, 2006 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home with the Bro. Dale Massengale officiating.  Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Waynesburg, Kentucky.  Visitation will be held from 6-9 Sunday, October 29th, 2006 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.  Ky Kin Footprints



NAFE, William Frank; OH; 1995, August 27; Cinti Enq – beloved husband of Joyce L. (Davis) Nafe, devoted father of Billy Jo Nafe, William E. Nafe and Billy Frank Nafe Jr., beloved son of Allie F. (Pennington) Nafe and the late Ernest W. Nafe, grandfather of three grandchildren, brother of Margaret Ann Wagner, Deborah Doerflein, Jery Nafe and Jimmy Nafe.  Sunday August 17, 1995.  Age 53 years.  Funeral service Paul R. NAGEL, Doris; age 104, was part of family that operates flour mill;  Doris J. Nagel, whose husband owned Brighton Mills, the only flour mill still operating in Cincinnati, died in her sleep Sunday (Oct. 30, 2000) at Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community in Clifton.  She was 104.  H. Nagel and Sons Flour Mill was founded in 1858 and milled flour for wholesale bakers such as Keebler, Nabisco and Quaker Oats.  The family also ran a tiny store that sold soft-wheat flours, wheat germ, bran, cracked wheat, farina and cornmeal in five and 25 pound bags.  The family closed the store about 10 years ago.  Mrs. Nagel graduated from Hughes High School in 1914 and attended Sweetbriar College in Virginia.  She married Henry Nagel in 1919.  She was a master bridge player and accomplished at flower arranging.  Mrs. Nagel was also a member of the Cincinnati Club, Cincinnati Woman’s Club, Westwood Woman’s Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Cincinnati Travel Club, Western Hills Country Club and Westwood First Presbyterian Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983.  Surviving are two sons, Henry E. Nagel, of Green Township and William S. Nagel of College Hill; a daughter, Patricia Hughey of Westwood; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. NASH, June Kalb; KY; 1999, September 30; Cincinnati Enquirer--June Kalb, 79, Lexington, KY., wife of Judge S.M. (Cy) Nash, died Thursday, September 30, 1999 at Mayfair manor nursing Home.  A former resident of Ft. Thomas, KY and cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Demmerle Kalb, and a member of cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church.  Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Leslie Nash, Paris, KY and Mary Mike Marquardt, Nicholasville, KY, a son and fatherinlaw, Michael and Mary Woods Nash, Glasgow, KU and five grandchildren; Monaco Barman, Michelle Marquardt, Catherine Nash, Michael Woods Nash and William Lewis Nash.  Funeral services will be 9 A.M., Saturday at Cathedral of Christ the King catholic Church.  Burial will be 12 Noon Saturday at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Ft. NASH, LESTER; The Rev. Lester Nash, 72, of Proctor Street died today at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (Danville, Ky). Born Sept. 14, 1929, in Maceo, he was the son of the late Sidney C. and Louellen Barnet Nash. He was a Baptist minister for 47 years and had been pastor of several Baptist churches, including Junction City First Baptist Church. He also served as interim pastor at several churches after his retirement. He served on the executive board of the Southern Baptist Convention and the executive board of the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He attended Tennessee Temple Seminary. Survivors include his wife, Idella Jennings Nash; four daughters, Threasha Hendricks of Norfolk, Va., Deanna Whittamore of Estero, Fla., Gina Melton of Danville and Belinda J. Birdsey of Norfolk, Va.; a son, Jeffrey Nash of Somerset; three sisters, Kathrine Crawford and Virginia Miller, both of Owensboro, and Sidney Wedding of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Clarence Nash of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home and 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the church. NASSAUER,  Marguerite A. (nee Wells), beloved wife of George Nassauer, devoted mother of George Nassauer, Barbara (Victor) Roth and Carol (Jerry) Wolf, loving grandmother of Joshua Wolf, Abigale McKinney, Sarah Wolf and Melissa Nassauer. Monday, November 25, 2002, age 81 years. Formerly of Wyoming. NAYLOR, Flossie - STANFORD - Services for Flossie Naylor, 89, of Stanford, were today at Willow Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Brad King. Burial was in Danville Memorial Gardens.  She died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital.  Born Dec. 1, 1916, in Junction City, she was the daughter of the late Hammond and Carrie Gordon Jones. She was a nurse's aide at Fort Logan Hospital Extended Care Unit and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of William E. Naylor.  Survivors include three sons, Harvey Naylor of Stanford, Paul Naylor of Hudson, Fla., and Kenny Naylor of Billings, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, the Rev. Shelby Naylor.  Pallbearers were T.J. Hill, Cecil Naylor, Steve Perry, John Grigsby, Charlie Bryant and Larry Phelps.  Honorary pallbearers were Andy, Roger, Billy, Ben and Scott Naylor, Elvie Dowell and Ernest Smith. NEW, Arthur Marvin, 73, Patterson Road, died suddenly Sunday, December 16, 1979 at his residence.  He was a retired tool and die maker.  His parents were the late James and Elizabeth Hughes New.  He was born in Pulaski County Jan. 28, 1906.  His wife, the former Amelia Carter, survives.  They were married in Ohio in 1928. Other survivors are one son, Raymond New, Ft. Thomas; three brothers, Floyd New, Waynesburg, Osburn New, Lockland, Ohio, and Schylur New, Somerset; three sisters, Mrs. Oval Tarter, Farmer City, Ill., Lela Calhoun, Ind., and Mrs. Samuel Crockett, Somerset.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home.  The Rev.    NEW, Betty Ruth, age 60 years, Whitley City, Kentucky died December 7, 2004 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Friday, December 10, 2004 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. John Gray and Rev. Mark Sewell officiating. Burial was in Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. She was born February 22, 1944 at Winfield, Tennessee the daughter of the late Neal and Geneva Voiles Stephens. She was a homemaker. Her parents and the following brothers and sister precede her in death, Neal Stephens, Jr.; Robert Stephens; Billy Ray Stephens; Eddie Joe Stephens and Faye Nell Tucker. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cleston New and her children, Sally Laney and her husband, James both of Whitley City, Kentucky and Jimmy Dale New and wife, Dawn, Commerce, Georgia. NEW, Bill ; Burial Made in Truscott Cemetery for (William) Bill New; Funeral services for Bill New, 74 of Willow, Okla., who died Monday (Jan. 25, 1971) of last week in a Mangum, Okla., hospital, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 4,  in the Greer Funeral Home chapel in Mangum.  Graveside rites were held at 2 p.m. in the Truscott Cemetery with Rev. J. V. Lough, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Mangum, officiating.  New was born Nov. 12, 1896, in Gainesville.  He was a World War I Marine Corps veteran and was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.  He was a member of the Truscott Baptist Church.  Survivors include four brothers, Arlie of Willow, Okla., Marcus of Belen, NM, Esker of Knox City and Delbert of Covina, Calif.  (This obit was contributed by Linda Salisbury of Palmdale, CA. NEW, Charles Layton, 73, a resident of Sagasser Street in Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 6 (2007) at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was born January 13, 1934 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of Joseph and Melville Sandifer New. Charlie was united in marriage to Janice Della Jackson New on September 3, 1954 at Somerset. Charlie was an Ordained Deacon at East Somerset Baptist Church for many years, and was a current Somerset City Council member whom had served continously since 1987. Charlie began working as a mechanic at an early age and enjoyed a life long career as a mechanic in our community. His famous comment was saying "Bring it on and we'll get you." Charles was always a caring person and put everyone else above himself. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and a friend to all whom knew him. He enjoyed sitting in his carport watching his great grandchildren and neighborhood children playing. He was always the one that children would come to when a bicycle or toy needed to be fixed. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Janice, of the home in Somerset; one son, Charles Michael (Mike) New and his wife Deronda, Somerset; one daughter, Cathy Ann Tucker and her husband Willard, Somerset; four brothers, Johnny New and his wife Dorothy, Somerset, Orville New, Somerset, Walter (Babe) New, Somerset, and Joseph Junior New and his wife Geneva, Shelbyville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Samantha Vanover, Ramona Polson, Scott West, and Kirby Flynn; six great grandchildren, Zachary West, Dylan West, Noah West, Austin Polson, Kerra Flynn and Joshua Flynn; a special sister-in-law, Edna Jackson, Somerset; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.   NEW, Delbert Ray New, Brother, 66, Monticello, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 14th, 2004 at Wayne County Hospital, Monticello, Kentucky. He was born March 12th, 1938 in Wayne County, Kentucky a son of the late Dewey Ethel New and Dova Branscum New. He was a retired Baptist Pastor. He was ordained on February 6th, 1965 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Wayne County, Kentucky. He lead the following churches; Providence Baptist, Cedar Hill Baptist, Clay Hill Baptist, Piney Grove Baptist, Lower Turkey Creek Baptist and Big Sinking Baptist of which he was also a member. He is survived by his wife; Alberta Keith New, whom he married on October 5th, 1955. They had celebrated 48 years together: six sons; Phillip (and Susie) New, Regiel (and Freda) New, Kenny (and Nancy) New, William (and Susan) New, Junior (and Lisa) New and Steve (and Amy) New: three daughters; Sheila (and Winfred) Godsey, Tilda (and Rudy) Branscum and Hilda (and David) Rose: four brothers; Arville New, Oval New, Odis New and Brother J. S. New: 19 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: one sister; Clona Pence: two brothers; Estil Olen New and infant, Lester New. NEW, Denny New Died At Home Wednesday: Denny Arnold New, 30, of Oak Hill died at his home yesterday afternoon (June 14, 1950) after a long illness.  He was born February 16, 1920, the son of J. W. and Margaret E. Hughes New.  He had lived in Pulaski County throughout his entire life.  Mr. New was well known in the Oak Hill community and had many friends in this county.  He was a kind friend and a considerate neighbor.  Funeral services will be held at the Oak Hill Baptist Church tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o’clock with the Rev. Roscoe Stringer officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.  Commonwealth Journal


(NEW) CLARK, Elizabeth Jean (NEW)- We regret to announce the passing of Elizabeth Jean at the Plummer Site, Sault Area Hospitals on Thursday, January 15, 2004, at the age of 79 after a courageous fight with cancer. Born in the village of Cleeve, Cheltenham, England to the late John and Winnifred New, on October 2, 1924. Wife and best friend of Cyril for 37 years. Mother to Penny (late Arthur), Anita (late Bill) and Barry (wife Barbara). Grandma to Bonita, Shelly (husband Laugharne), Jason, Shaun, Anthony and Michael (wife Helen). Great Gran to Thomas Jones in Wales. Sister to Jack New (wife Mary), Michael New, Philip New (wife Rita), the late David New, Muriel (late Arthur), Sheila (late Jack), Rita (late Stan) and Brenda (late Bill). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in the UK. Sister-in-law to Gladys Grimshaw (late Tom) of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Her black lab, Shamu, will miss her. At Jean's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation with interment at   a later date in England.   NEW, Elmer, 89, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.Mr. New was born in Wayne County, Ky., on April 13, 1918, to the late Bruce and Rhoda Godsey New. He retired from the Army Corps of Engineers. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Quinton Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.He is survived by a son, Jimmy New of Somerset; two daughters, Joyce Ann Hardwick of Vermillion, Ohio, and Jo Carol (and Dwight) Thurman of Bronston, Ky.; a brother, Cecil C. New of Bronston; a sister, Anna Gracie Thompson of Bronston; five grandchildren, Bruce New, Debbie Styles, Bobbie Jo Gillispie, Lisa Hicks, and John Thurman; and eight great grandchildren, Caleb New, Abigail Styles, Bradley Davis, Sean Davis, Jared Hicks, Erica Hicks, Zackery Hicks, and Alexia Hicks.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth New, whom he married on Oct. 18, 1954 in Somerset; a daughter, Judy K. NEW, Eula Mae, 78, of New Lisbon died unexpectedly Friday in her home. (Jan 7, 1994 posted) A native of Hogue, Ky., Mrs. New had resided in the New Lisbon area for the past 50 years.  She was a homemaker and a membr of the New Lisbon Christian Church.  Born Sept. 26, 1915, she was a daughter of Roscoe and Zilpha Dick Mofield.  Survivors include her husband, Samuel New, whom she married March 20, 1931; five daughters, Irene Dobbs and Linda Branham, both of New Castle, Terri Ingalls of New Lisbon, Lois Joyce of Rushville and Batty Nicholson of Woodlinville, Wash; a son, Mike of Crockett, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Silas Mofield of Georgetown, Ky; two half brothers, Hollis Mofield of Peru and Harold Mofield of Somerset, Ky.; two sisters, Faye Petty of Somerset, Ky.; and Helen Brown of Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy New, in 1972; a sister, Stella Harness in 1993; and two brothers, Simon Mofield in 1992, and Delmar Mofield in 1993.  Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Marshall Funeral Home in Dublin.  Burial will follow in the New Lisbon Cemetery.  Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday and prior to the services Tuesday. New, Ida , 80, Stearns, died Friday, Oct. 24, 1975, after a lingering illness at the Somerset City Hospital. Born November 26, 1894, in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Julie Keith. She was married December 2, 1914, to Willie New, who preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, Frank New, Stearns, Mrs. Tona Hughes, Munice, Ind., Mrs. Stella Reagan, St. Joseph, Mich., Mrs. Rachel Barnett, Marshes Siding; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Bryant, Ft. NEW, James William New, 83, died Sunday at his home in Oak Hill.  He was born September 26, 1876, the son of Rev. Wesley and Eliza Ann Turpin New.  He was married to Elizabeth Margaret Hughes August 4, 1897, and to the union 11 children were born, three of who preceded him in death.  At an early age he united with the Zion Baptist Church in Wayne County, later moving his membership to the Oak Hill Baptist Church.  He was faithful in attendance as long as his health permitted.  He is survived by his wife, eight children, Mrs. Lela Calhoun, Mrs. Flona Gadberry, and Mrs. Edna Crockett, Somerset; Mrs. Charity Tarter, Farmer City, Ill.; Osborn New and Arthur New, Lockland, Ohio; Floyd New, New London, Ohio; and Skyler New, Waynesburg.  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. NEW, J. P. :FORMER POSTMASTER IN WAYNE COUNTY DIES AT OAK HILL:  J. P. NEW, 83, Wayne County, died last night at the home of a son, Herbert New, at Oak Hill after a three-month illness. (Nov. 12, 1956) New was a retired merchant and had been postmaster at Flosie and Gregory in Wayne County.  He founded the Post Office at Flosie and named it for one of his daughters.  Also surviving are six other sons, Kenneth New, New Castle, Ind., Dallas New, Eubank; George New, Gregory; Quillie New, Pueblo, Ky.; Roscoe New, Denney, and Noel New, Monticello; six daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ramsey and Mrs. Ina New, both of Somerset; Mrs. Flosie New and Mrs. Hazel Jones, both of Eubank; Mrs. Clida Denney, of Denney, and Mrs. Opal Denney, Delta, and two brothers, James W. NEW, Mary Frances Abbott Foster-New, 88, a resident of Lexington, Kentucky and a former longtime resident of Somerset, Kentucky was called home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, June 17, 2007 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky, December 13, 1918 the daughter of the late John Henry Abbott and Allie Myrtle Hines-Abbott. Mary was a homemaker, a devoted Christian, a loving Mother and Grandmother and attended Beech Grove Methodist Church most of her life. She later attended Denham Street Church and Huffaker Assembly of God. She loved reading the Bible, praying, going to church and taking care of her family. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Jean Morris, Franklin, Indiana, Ruby Dick (and Vernon), Science Hill, Kentucky, Frances Helmburg (and Billie), Lexington, Kentucky, (a special note of thanks and love to Frances and Billie for their devoted love and relentless care giving to our Mother from 2003 until the time the Lord called her home) and Edna Vogelgesang (and Lee), Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Lloyd Foster (and Connie), Yuma, Arizona, Roy Lee Foster (and Joyce), Science Hill, Kentucky; one sister, Opal Neeley, Eubank, Kentucky; twenty three Grandchildren; forty Great Grandchildren; seven Great Great grandchildren; and several Stepchildren and Step Grandchildren. They were married on February 3, 1986 and he passed away on January 20, 2004; also preceding her were an infant son, Bobby Ray Foster (who passed away as an infant); her parents, John Henry Abbott and Allie Myrtle Hines-Abbott; two brothers, Earnest Marion (Duke) Abbott and Edward Garner (Bud) Abbott; four sisters, Hazel Trent, Alma Salyers, Pearl Abbott and Beulah Foster; two granddaughters, Mary Jane Black-Bruhnsen and Vickie Jo Black; one grandson, Johnny Wayne Dick.

Nannie E. New, age 96, of New Castle, Ind. passed away Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Wesley Healthcare Center in Auburn.  She was born in Wayne County, Ky. on February 6, 1907, the daughter of the late Alvis and Jennie Clark Gregory. She married Hester New, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons-Clarence H. New and Raymond Waddell, both of New Castle, Ind.; one daughter-Christine Brown of Sun City West, AZ; four sisters-Eula Fosteen Pierce of Anderson, Doris Robertson and Kay Brumley, both of New Castle, Ind. and Lorene Davenport of Monticello, Ky.; three brothers-Gary Gregory and Freddie Gregory, both of New Castle, Ind., Richard Gregory of Mooreland; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was one daughter-Anna Ruth Dudelston; three brothers-Homer, Harmon and Ray Gregory; two sisters-Pearl Moore and Lula Meer; and step-mother-Wilma Gregory.
She was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated the Kennard Cafe and New’s Grocery in Hillsboro for many years. She sold Studio Girl Cosmetics and Sarah Coventry Jewelry. Other memberships include Order of Eastern Star, Chapter # 196 in Hagerstown and the New Castle Brotherhood/Sisterhood. She was a member of Knightstown Church of God for many years and was presently a member of Northside Church of God in New Castle.

Roscoe Lawrence New, age 82, passed away Monday, October 13, 2003 at his home. He was born in Wayne County, Ky. on May 7, 1921, the son of the late John Perry and Etna New. NEW, Winnie Loraine; 80, a resident of Los Chavez for almost three decades, passed away at an Albuquerque hospital Friday (Oct. 5, 1979) after a long illness.  She was born in Texas in 1899 and married Marcus New in 1916.  In 1920 the News homesteaded near Quemado, then returned to Texas, then returned to New Mexico, residing in Roy, Cimarron and Corona before moving to Los Chavez in 1952, where they have lived ever since.  She was a charter member of the Sunshine Extension Club.  She is survived by her husband, Marcus of Los Chavez; a daughter, Randa Sutherland of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Derral Hord of Las Vegas and Mrs. Rada Dunn of Crowell, Texas, and a brother, John Campbell of California.  The remains lied in state Sunday at the Romero Funeral Home South Chapel in Belen.  Graveside services were held Monday at the Terrace Grover Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The Rev. **(WHITEWATER TOWNSHIP - A North Bend man was killed late Wednesday when the excavator he was operating behind his business overturned in a wooded area, authorities said today. Kenneth Neyer, Sr., 60, was found dead in the cab of the excavator about 11:30 p.m., behind Ken Neyer Plumbing at 4895 State Route 128, Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies went to the business after Neyer, who had been working in the woods, was not heard from for about six hours. Authorities found the excavator overturned on a hillside about a 1/4 mile into the woods, Hamilton County Sheriff spokesman Steve Barnett said. Philadelphia during World War II and worked 30 years as a machine operator at the New Castle Chrysler plant before retiring in June 30, 1980.  Born May 20, 1921, he was a son of the late James R. and Alcie E. Hollars Nicholas.  Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret L. Nicholas, Margaret L. 'Red', 69, of Lewisville died unexpectedly Friday (posted Dec. 22, 1995) at her residence here.  Mrs. Nicholas was a school bus driver for South Henry Schools and retired June 30, 1988, after 15 years of service.  She was also a member of the Lewisville Volunteer Fire Department and was the 1986 Lewisville fireman of the year.  An egg artist who handcrafted Rhea eggs and a variety of other eggs the past eight years, she was owner-operator of Ma's Egg House of Lewisville. She was also a seamstress who made many wedding dresses, suits and clothing for all occasions.  She attended Immanuel Baptist Church of New Castle.  A native of Allais, Ky., she was born Nov. 1, 1926, a daughter of the late Litton and Polly Jane Tucker Hughes and lived in the Lewisville area since Aug. 4, 1956.  Survivors include two sons, Royce of Hagerstown and James L. of Lewisville; four grandchildren; three sisters, Cloa Mae New and Ida Beulah Floyd both of Somerset, Ky., and Pauline McPheron of Hobart; three brothers, James S.   NOLAN, Frank, 71, of Eubank, February 25th, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  Born Friday, January 3rd, 1936 in Pulaski County to the late George & Lucy Bishop Nolan.  Frank was a builder and farmer and member of Operating Engineers Local 181 of Henderson.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Allen whom he married 49 years ago; two sons Jeff Nolan of Loda, Ill, Joey (Laura) Nolan of Salvisa, Ky.; four daughters Darlene (Ray) Ellison of Taylorsville, Ky., Emma Nolan of Georgetown, Ky., Geraldine (Tim) Barron of Eubank, Ky., Teressa (Mike) Young of Smithfield, Ky.; four sisters, Marie Webster of Richmond, Ky., Lilly Mae Carry of Shelbyville, Ky., Geneva Snowden of Berea, Ky., and Wanda Delaney of Florida; Seventeen Grandchildren; Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, as well as seven brothers, Delbert, Earl, Robert, Melvin, Nelson, Russell, & Everett Nolan and three sisters Edith Lear, Verna LaFon & Virginia Mills.

NOLAN,  Regina, 55, October 25, 1945-August 19, 2001. Resided in Cincinnati the past 22 years. Was born in Brooklyn, NY. She passed on peacefully in San Diego, CA surrounded by her three loving children, son-in-law and dear friend on August 19, 2001 after an eight month courageous battle with lung cancer that spread to her brain and bone. She was a Realtor for many years in Cincinnati. Recently retired to move to California to be near her children. One of many thoughtful acts she did was to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. If asked, How would you sum-up Regina's life?, many would say, ""She lived life to the fullest.'' Regina is survived by her mother, Jessie Diakatos, 90 years old, of Winter Park, FL,

NOLAN, Robert L., 75, Niagara Falls Circle, who retired as an inventory controller for an automobile distributorship, died Tuesday at home in Ormond Beach, FL.  Born in Cincinnati, Mr. Nolan moved here in 1935 from Centerville, OH.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 1, Cincinnati.  He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Survivors include his wife, Shirley, additional survivors include his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and nephews and very dear friends too numerous to mention in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Titusville, FL, Cincinnati and Dayton, OH, the Detroit area, Bedford and Bloomington, IN and Oahu, HI.  In Hawaii he had been a resident of Honolulu and Mililani Town.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday in Ormond Beach, FL.  The family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler counties, 655 N.
