RADENHEIMER, Charles H. (Chuck), 94, Tanglewood, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2001 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born August 29, 1907, a son of the late Phillip Radenheimer and Eva Radenheimer. He is survived by special Caregivers, Ernie and Kellie Wood, Science Hill; Heather, Candice, Kendra and Mallory; Junior and Janice Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Myrtle Kathleen (Phelps) Radenheimer, who passed away July 27, 2000: two brothers, Bill and Ray Radenheimer. RAGLE, Elbert Lee, 85, South Ky. 1247, Somerset, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. A Wayne County native, he was born March 8, 1916, son of the late Joseph and Sallie J. Bennett Ragle. He was a former employee of Grissom and Rakestraw, Burnside, and also worked for Burnside Veneer Company in Burnside. He was a Kentucky Colonel and member of First Baptist Church of Burnside. Survivors include his wife, Lula Marie Braumn Ragle, whom he married Sept. 6, 1938, in Somerset; three sons, James Ragle, Bronston, Roger (and Linda) Ragle, Cedar Grove community, and Charles (and Dottie) Ragle, Saint Jacob, Ill.; three sisters, Hattie Braumn, New Castle, Ind., Rosie Morford, Kalamazoo, Ohio, and Ruby Vaught, Maineville, Ohio; three grandsons, Richard (and Sue) Ragle, Mitchell (and Sandra) Ragle and Charles Ragle II; three granddaughters, Lucinda, (and Paul) Poland, Debbie (and Wayne) Eckert and Shelli (and Byron) Marise; a step-granddaughter, Michelle McAfee; former daughter-in-law, Arlene Ragle, Tennessee; 15 great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua and Victoria Poland, Renee and Crystal Ragle, Troy, Travis, Tyler and Delynn Eckert, Brandi and Cody Marise, Kyera, Tanner and Taylor McAfee and Elizabeth Ragle. RAGLE, Katie F., 82, of Bronston, KY, passed away September 14, 2001 at Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation, Somerset, KY. She was born in Crab Orchard, KY, February 25, 1919, daughter of the late James Bunch and Lucinda (Bunch) Bunch. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include four sons, Melvin Ragle of Bronston, John Ragle of Fort Wayne, IN, Harold Ragle of Somerset, Junior Ragle of Bronston, four daughters, Lucille Troxtell of Ferguson, Betty Hughes of Bronston, Debra Carrender of Burnside, Kathy McMullin of Bronston, two brothers, Charles Bunch of Mt. Vernon, Arthur Bunch of London,  two sisters, Mildred Bell of Burnside, Grace Perry of Crab Orchard, 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ragle, whom she married Nov. 4, 1937 in Crab Orchard, her parents, a daughter, Norma Ruth Ragle, three sisters, Bertie Littlejohn, Mary Weaver and Dorthy Byrd. She was born December 16th, 1912 in Pointer, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Walter Dye and Bannie Dye. RAINWATER, Willie Elbert - LIBERTY - Willie Elbert Rainwater, 77, of Science Hill, formerly of Casey County, died Wednesday in Science Hill. Born June 25, 1928, in Pulaski County, he was a son of the late George and Eva Roy Rainwater. He was a retired carpenter and farmer, an Army veteran and the widower of Martina Davenport Rainwater. Survivors include two sons, Rick Rainwater of Lexington and Jack Rainwater of Louisville; a sister, Merlie Molden of Nancy; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Zella E. Rainwater, widow of the late Clyde R. Rainwater, died in Norwood, Ohio. RAMEY, Ruth Ann Lyons -CRAB ORCHARD -  82, of Crab Orchard, died Thursday at her home. Born Feb. 19, 1923, in Mullins, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Houston Gilford and Mary Jane Hurt Lyons. She was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James W. Ramey of Crab Orchard; a son, Michael Ramey of Crab Orchard; a brother, Elmer D. Lyons of Natural Dam, Ark.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandsons. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKnight Funeral Home by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery. RAMSEY, Herbert Ray, 64, Bardstown, formerly of Somerset, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at his residence. Born June 11, 1936, in McCreary County, he was the son of Dewey Robert and Gertrude Edith New Ramsey. He was a self-employed car dealer, graduated from Pulaski County High School in 1955 and has been a member of Second Baptist Church in Whitley City since an early age. Survivors include a sister, Betty (and Silas) Ramsey Shepherd, Somerset; seven nieces; five nephews; several great nieces and nephews, including niece, Kimberly Mounce, Harrodsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Junior Ramsey, Clarence Ramsey, Robert Allen Ramsey, Ralph Edward Ramsey, Byron Ramsey and Herbert Ramsey; and a sister, Della Mae Ramsey. RAMSEY, Russell Kennerly, age 69, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. He was born on September 12, 1934, in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late William and Pearl Barnes Ramsey. He married Shirley Rose Vernon, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter-Shirley J. Stempson; one sister-Betty Ramsey Ford; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; four step-great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death is one brother-Rex Ramsey; and two sisters-Opal Ramsey Lawless and Orena Ramsey. While in the Army, he was stationed in Germany. After receiving his honorable discharge he moved to Indianapolis where he married his wife and remained a resident for the rest of his life. He was employed by Wrecks, Inc. for 35 years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Ind.    RAMSEY, Theresa, age 82 years, Ocala, Florida formerly McCreary County, Kentucky died July 3, 2004 at Legacy House of Hospice of Marion County. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, 2004 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Loyd King officiating. Burial was in Stearns Cemetery. She was Born September 9, 1921 at Stearns, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jess and Etta Crabtree. She worked in cosmetic sales for Avon. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Her parents and her husband, Harry Ramsey precedes her in death. David Craig Ramsey is the deceased son.   Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Jenkins, Ocala, Florida. The following brothers and sisters survive: Paul Crabtree, South Bend, Indiana; Bob Crabtree, Jeffersonville, Indiana; Mable Adams, Stearns, Kentucky; Betty Kahl, Clarksville, Indiana and Canava Baker, Ashville, North Carolina. RANDALL, Mr. Carlos G., 83, 3400 Dahl Road passed away Sunday September 30, 2001 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born September 2, 1918 son of the late John F. and Jenny (Woodall) Randall. He was a farmer. He also worked for Peoples Tobacco Warehouse in Somerset and a member of Cedar Gap Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include his wife Alma (Bales) Randall whom he married on April 22, 1938 in Somerset; three daughters Donna Charlene and (Harold) Price of Indianapolis, IN., Virginia Lee and (Bill) Price and Vivian Gay and (Wilbert) Nicely all of Somerset; five grandchildren, Rick Price, Rance Price, Rhonda Cox, Robin Johnson and Tracy McCowan; six great-grandchildren Dustin Price, Brooke McCowan, Kelsey Johnson, Corey Price, Rachel Price and Alex McCowan. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters Nellie Hargis, Georgia Parkey and Gertrude Phelps; four brothers Pleas, Claude, Lloyd and Oscar Randall. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Randall, Mr. Floyd J., son of the late Jay and Clara Chaney Randall, was born at Shopville, Ky. on April 27, 1934 and departed this life on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005 having attained the age of 71 years.  He was united in marriage to Gertrude Phelps Randall on December 10, 1960 in Somerset, Ky.  Survivors include; one son, Jackie (and Rebecca) Randall; three grandaughters, Ruth Ellen Randall, Hannah Randall and Jacklynn Randall all of Somerset, Ky.;  three sisters,  Kathleen (and Roger) Price of Somerset, Ky.,  Juanita (and Dewey) Poynter of Somerset, Ky., and Mary Jane (and Floyd) Cadwallader of Ohio;  one brother, Everett (and Shelby) Randall of Somerset, Ky.;  two sister-in-laws, and a host of neices, nephews and cousins. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers,  Bobby Lee and Harold Roy Randall. Floyd was a farmer, a Korean Army veteran and a member of the Fellowship Methodist Church, he was a very kind and fun loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives, friends, and church family who both  mourn his passing and celebrate his homegoing. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at the Fellowship Methodist Church with Rev. Glenn Cox and Rev. Jody VanSickle officiating.  Burial followed in the Fellowship Methodist Church Cemetery where military honors were conducted by the American Legion Post # 38.  Pulaski Funeral Home was entrusted with all funeral arrangements. RANDALL, Gertie, daughter of the late Macy and Mary Ellen Adams Phelps, was born at White Lily, KY. on October 29, 1938 and departed this life on Saturday January 12, 2002 having attained the age of 63 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Floyd Randall on December 10, 1960 in Somerset, KY. He survives. Other survivors include 1 son; Jack Randall and his wife Rebecca of Somerset, KY., 1 brother; Edward Phelps of Somerset, KY., and 3 grandchildren; Ruth Ellen Randall, Hannah Randall and Jacklynn Randall all of Somerset and a host of other relatives. Gertie was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship of Methodist Church. She was kind lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. RANDALL, Max Ward, beloved husband of Gladys Randall (nee Waller), devoted father of Leroy (Gayle) Randall, Ramona (Kenneth) Goble, Jeannette Crain, Karen (David) Roadcup, Morris (Kathy)Randall and Dwight (Sheila) Randall, brother Joseph (Jeanne) Randall of Holiday, FL.. Also survived by 18 loving grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many friends. Saturday, October 28, 2000. Age 83 years. After ministering to churches in Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota and Kentucky, Max and Gladys served for 16 years as missionaries in South Africa and Zambia, Africa as well as surveying new mission fields in other parts of the world. He also taught Missions at Lincoln Christian College and Seminary for 17 years, authored four books, and many articles.    RANDOLPH, Hoy, age 87, of Nancy, KY passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at his residence in Nancy.Mr. Randolph was born in Mintonville, KY on November 11, 1919 to the late Walt and Loney Vaught Randolph.  He was a United States Army Veteran from the battles at Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe who received an EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars, an American Theater Ribbon, and a Good Conduct Medal.  He met and fell in love with Anna Minton, whom he married on June 11, 1943 in Liberty, KY. Raney, Samuel M.;, 99, of Versailles, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. He was born in the Tanglewood community near Versailles on December 22, 1905 the son of Robert Newton and Mary Alice Jackson Raney. He was married to Emma Melba Robertson on June 22, 1929 and she preceded him in death on September 4, 1994. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Galyean and husband Robert of Richmond, Doris Kurtz and husband August "Bud" Kurtz of Angola, Barbara Kemp and husband William Kemp of Osgood; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his son, Carl; four brothers, Glen, Floyd, Jack and Hershel Raney; and five sisters, Ethel Sheets, Edith Raney, Agnes Richmond and Madaline Moody and one infant sister. Mr. Raney was a 1923 graduate of Versailles High School and graduated from the Fort Wayne School of Business. He was a 35 year employee of Coca Cola where he managed a distribution center in Angola. He was also an Army veteran of WWII, was a member of the Tanglewood Baptist Church, a member and past commander of the Versailles American Legion, was a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge having belonged in Angola and was currently a member of the Versailles lodge. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 13 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Becky Pohle of the Tanglewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Tanglewood Cemetery in Versailles with military graveside rites conducted by the Versailles American Legion. RASTETTER, Brother Joseph L.; Aided poor; 59, secretary of the board of directors of the practical Family Living Center in Cincinnati, died Wednesday, December 23, 1992.  Brother Rastetter, born and reared in Alexandria, IN., joined the Chicago province of the Society of Jesus in 1964.  A skilled construction worker and auto mechanic, he served in the maintenance department of the society’s novitiate in Milford, Ohio, Brebeuf Preparatory School in Indianapolis, St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati and , most recently, at the Faber Jesuit Community in Cincinnati.  As secretary of the board of directors of the Practical Family Living Center, Brother Rastetter helped provide services for poor people in the Cincinnati area.  He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1953 to 1955 and attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN., in 1956 and 1957. REED, Robert L., 97, of South Fork, died Monday, June 18 at the Golden Living Center in Stanford. A native of Lincoln County, he was born Jan. 28, 1910 to the late Oliver Robert Reed and Lena Wilcher Reed. He worked in the bridge and building department of Southern Railroad for 49 years, was a member of South Fork Baptist Church, and the widower of Ruth Compton Reed. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Reed and Betty Jo Graves. Survivors include five sons, Benny Lee (Marilyn) Reed of Tucson, Ariz., Robert G. Reed, Mike (Linda) Reed and Mark (Sheila) Reed all of Stanford, and Danny (Gladys) Reed of McKinney; two daughters, Evelyn Bair and Ann Rozen Elliott both of La Porte, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. REED, William Daley, died Saturday May 6, 1989 at the age of 77. The death was ruled a suicide by Scott Ernst, deputy corner. Born on Nov. 8, 1911 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late William Shelby and Cynthia Warfield Reed. He was retired from the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service after 26 years of service. A native of Stanford, she was born Saturday, July 10, 1920 to the late James and Nancy (Leece) Gover. She had been a Connecticut resident for the past 16 years, was the secretary and Assistant Treasurer at Standard Supply of Connecticut for many years prior to her retirement, and was a member of the Cheshire United Methodist Church. REMKE,  Joyce Dix. Our beloved Lita passed away as snow began to fall shortly after midnight on February 24th (2004) in the home of her daughter after a valiant and brave battle with cancer. She died as she lived; with beauty, style, grace, dignity, intelligence and humor. While we will miss her always, we know that she is now dancing in the clouds with her sweet Bobo, the one love of her life. Joyce was born February 28th in Milwaukee and raised in Port Washington, Wisconsin where she graduated in 1944, Valedictorian of her class and Captain of the State Champion Debate Team. She earned a scholarship to Northwestern University where she was again on the Debate Team, member of Chi Omega Sorority and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. It was there she met Robert Lang Remke, whom she married October 2, 1948. Their corporate life together with Proctor and Gamble for 30 years and then RJR Foods took them from Chicago to Cincinnati, Toronto, Mexico City, Winston-Salem and San Fracisco. Joyce moved to Santa Fe in 1988 (in order to play a vital role in her grandchildren's lives, as she also did within the community of Santa Fe. She was past President of Guilds Inc. of the Santa Fe Opera, past President and past Recording Secretary of the Santa Fe Garden Club, past Secretary of the Republican Women's Club, past Board Member and Friend of the Santa Fe Desert Choral, devout member of the First Presbyterian Church, member of the Council of International Relations, Newcomer's Club and NM Museum Foundation. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Remke; her husband, Bob Remke; her sister, Peggy Dix McHaney; her nephew, James Dix Caffee; and her parents, Maude and Arno Dix. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Blagden; son-in-law, Joseph Blagden; the three joys of her life, her grandchildren; Jackson Lang Blagden, Katherine Bonar Blagden and Wyndham-Anne Washington Blagden. RENFRO, Charles William, Jr. 89, of Pleasantwood Drive, a retired podiatrist, died Monday at the Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. He was a podiatrist in Danville for more than 50 years and retired in 1990. He graduated from Harrodsburg High School and the Illinois College of Chiropody and Foot Surgery. Renfro was member and past president of the Danville Rotary Club where he was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow and for perfect attendance for 61 years. He had served 20 years and was former chairman of the Danville Board of Education. He was also the former chairman of the Central Kentucky Region of the Kentucky School Boards Association.  He served in the Navy Medical Corps during World War II and was involved in the Normandy Invasion. He was a member and deacon of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Born June 19, 1917, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Charles William and Lottie Bradford Saker Renfro. He was the widower of Dorothy Elinor Coleman Renfro.  Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Holtzclaw of Danville; one son, Charles Coleman Renfro of Danville; a sister, Sue Stanifer of Helen, Ga.; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. REYNOLDS, Mrs. Beatrice K., the daughter of the late Pierce Hayes Keltner and Lou Myrtie Dudley Keltner, was born Friday, May 25, 1906 in Adair County and departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2005 in Greensburg at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. She was 98 years, 7 months and 23 days of age.She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.She united in marriage on October 15, 1927 to William Bradley Moss, who preceded her in death on October 24, 1961.    REYNOLDS, Robert Earl “Sherman”, 60, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, July 16th, 2007 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.  Born Saturday, November 23rd, 1946 in Waynesburg to the late Byron Mercer & Nola Evelyn Wesley Reynolds.   Robert was a graduate of Memorial High School, and was a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran having achieved the rank of Sergeant.  He was a postal carrier for Waynesburg and Kings Mountain areas for more than 28 years.  He was a founding Member and Captain of Waynesburg Rescue Squad and former member of Waynesburg Ruritan Club.  Robert was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a former deacon.  He was an avid deer hunter and member of The Something Ain’t Right Rod and Gun Club.  Robert was a Kings Mountain Memorial Basketball Coach for both Boys and Girls and a referee for local games, as well as umpiring local softball games.  He also enjoyed Church League Softball and League Bowling. Robert wed Judy Padgett on January 1st 1973, to this marriage came two children, Robert “Robbie” Darrell Reynolds of Jacksonville, FL and Misty Dawn Reynolds of Georgetown.  He is survived by a brother, Byron Dean (Barbara) Reynolds of Durham, NC and two sisters Beverly Sue Murphy of Kings Mountain and Nancy Kay (Condy) Cook of Lexington as well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends and two dogs Zeus & Sis.Robert was preceded in death by two brothers Darrell Rickey & Byron Edison Reynolds and a Brother-In-Law Kerry Curtis Murphy. RIGNEY, Mary Jane, age 58, passed away Monday, January 10, 2005 at Wayne County Hospital. She was born March 30, 1946 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Shelby H. and Lona Lair Barnett. She married Floyd William Thompson, who preceded her in death. She later married Ronnie Rigney on October 31, 1981, who survives. She is survived by three sons-Gordon, Paul and Joseph Thompson; two sisters-Marilyn Blevins and Helen Butler; one brother-Mitchell Barnett; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He died Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. Born May 1, 1914, in Brodhead, he was the son of the late Frank F. and Matilda Howard Robbins. He earned a degree from Eastern Kentucky University and did graduate work at the University of Kentucky. He was a teacher and coach at Jenkins, Pikeville and Williamsburg high schools. He played semi-professional baseball in Mountain Pine and Cumberland Valley leagues. He was principal of Crab Orchard Elementary School and several other schools. He was a Mason and a member of Scottish Rite and Oleika Shrine Temple and president of Wilderness Shrine. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and Navy, a member of American Legion and Williamsburg Hall of Fame. He was a member and trustee of Lancaster Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise Snavely Robbins; a son, Alan B. Robbins of Lancaster; a daughter, Rebecca M. Robbins of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Millard Robbins; and two grandchildren. ROBBINS, Doris Ann & Darren Lee; Mrs. Doris Ann Robbins and her two year old son, Darren Lee, were fatally injured in an accident in Memphis, Tenn. Last Wednesday.  According to Beazley-Raney-Speaks Funeral Home, Mrs. Robbins and her son were hit by an oncoming car while crossing a street in Memphis.  They had been to see Elvis Presley and were on their way back to the car to get their camera, when the accident occurred.  Darren Lee died instantly and Mrs. Robbins died a few hours later of severe head injuries.  The Robbins family had been to Ft. Worth, TX to visit their daughter and were on their way back home and stopped in Memphis for the night.  A native of Garrard County, Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.  Survivors include her husband, Mr. Harold Lee Robbins of Stanford; two sons, Harold Gilbert and John Mark Robbins of Stanford; a daughter, Dorothy Robbins Neal of Ft. Worth, TX.; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Horace Mullins of Waynesburg; a brother, Gilbert Wayne Mullins of Waynesburg; and grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Arvil Hubbard of Waynesburg.  Darren’s survivors, in addition to those of his mother, are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robbins of Stanford and great grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Miracle of Stanford.  Services were conducted at the Mt. Roberson, Frank, Rev., Aug. 29, 1941-Mar. 27, 2005 -Reverend Frank Roberson, 63, Monticello, KY went to be with the Lord at10 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Lockett¹s United Methodist Churchfollowing a two-year battle against ALS (Low Gehrig¹s Disease).Born August 29, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of Fred MerlinRoberson, Zwolle, LA, and was raised by Dr. Raymond (³Doc²) Murphy and Lois Murphy of Robinson, IL. He graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and worked as a buyer for Marshall Fields before joining Dana Corporation in 1966. After 30 years as a Human Resource Manager with Dana, he retired early in order to follow the Lord¹s calling to the ministry. At the youthful age of 55 years, Frank enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY while he pastored at Houks United Methodist Church, Summershade United Methodist Church and later Hodges United Methodist Church all in Green County, KY. After graduating with a Masters of Divinity in2001, he was called in 2003 to pastor Monticello United Methodist Church and Lockett¹s United Methodist Church in Wayne County, KY.Never one to sit idly by, Reverend Frank Roberson actively served hiscommunity in a variety of roles: President - Rotary Club, Manteca Calif.School Board (elected trustee), Cub Master and Boy Scout Troop Leader, officer of the Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, and Kiwanis, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, youth athletic coach, Secretary of Ministerial Association in Monticello, and Ordained Elder of the United Methodist Church. On September 1, 1962, he married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra Sue Roberson of Robinson, IL, at Kirk Chapel United Methodist Church in Robinson. Sandy is the daughter of the late Roscoe and Rosalie Chronic of Robinson, and sister of Peggy Wetherell, Marshall, Ill., and Marilyn Musgrave, Robinson. Roberts, Harold Vernon, 85, Somerset, passed away at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Saturday, July 3, 2004. He was born in Mintonville, Ky., July 1, 1919, son of the late Carl Wyatt Roberts and Dora Bell (Moore) Roberts. He was a maintenance man for the State of Kentucky. He was a Mason and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was of the rank TSgt. Military honors include American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct, and WWII Victory.    ROBINSON, Mae Serena, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 17th, 2005. Mae was born April 11th, 1922 in Magnum, Kentucky. After completing high school, Mae attended Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. In August 1950, she married William Biddle (W.B.) Robinson. She and Bill lived in Kentucky, then later moved to Tennessee. In 1970, they moved their family to Daytona Beach. They owned and operated hotels in the Daytona Beach Shores and Ponce Inlet area up until the late 1980’s. Mae was a wonderful wife and mother. Her biggest joy was her family. She loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family. This loving tradition continued through the years until recently when she took ill. Mae was a member of First Baptist Church, Daytona Beach. She taught children and youth Sunday School and was very actively involved in the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) and all its mission programs. Mae was preceded by her mother, Roxie Wesley Canada and her father, Albert Clinton Wesley. Mae is survived by her husband, W. B. (Daddy Bill) Robinson; 1 daughter; Margaret Robinson Sorrells of Dallas, Texas; 4 sons: Billy (and Sharon) Robinson of Dallas, Jim Robinson (and Susan) Robinson, of Littleton, Colorado, Tom Robinson (and Cindy) of Orlando Beach, Florida and John Robinson of Port Orange, Florida. ROCKLIN, Hazel -MESA, Ariz. - Hazel "Toni" Rocklin, 71, died Saturday in Mesa, Ariz. Born Sept. 11, 1933, in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Scherrer. She was the owner of two florist shops, Village Florist and Village Florista. During her youth, she modeled furs and appeared on several television shows in St. Louis. Survivors include two sons, Mark S. Rocklin of Phoenix, Ariz., and Erik P. Rocklin of Mesa; two sisters, Opal Snodgrass and Mary Hale; and a brother, Morris Scherrer. RODABAUGH,   Mary Jane Gorman, long time Oxford resident and former senior instructor at Miami University, died Monday, December 23, 2002 at Hospice of Blue Ash at the age of 85. Mary Jane was born in Napoleon, Ohio on August 2, 1917. Her loving husband, Dr. James Rodabaugh, her parents, Dan and Sophia Gorman, dear cousins, Carl and Eleanor Taraschke and a brother, Jim Gorman, preceded her in death. Mrs. Rodabaugh, an honor graduate of Capital University, held the M.A. degree in history from the Ohio State University and began her distinguished career as a teacher of English Literature. She was then employed by the Ohio Historical Society where she met Dr. James Rodabaugh. They were married on November 9, 1946, and enjoyed 38 years of marriage until Dr. Rodabaugh's death in 1985. Together they co-authored two works, Nursing in Ohio, a history, 1951, and Schoenbrunn and the Moravian Missions in Ohio, 1945. She served as assistant to the director of the Ohio War History Commissin and was the managing editor of the Ohio Nurses Review, a publication of the Ohio State Nurses' Association. She developed many wonderful and enduring friendships with students at the Columbus School for Girls where she taught in the early 60's. The couple lived and worked in Columbus and Kent, Ohio, until 1967, when they came to Oxford and were employed by Miami University. Mrs. Rodabaugh, a senior instructor of social studies in the Education Department, was involved in training many area teachers and was very active in professional associations. Upon her retirement she was awarded Professor Emeritus status. Mrs. Rodabaugh, always active, was a volunteer at the Miami Art Museum and with the McCullough Hyde Hospital Auxiliary. Until last spring she wintered in Frot Myers, Florida and most recently lived at Evergreen Retirement Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Rodabaugh enjoyed world travel and was known for her intellectual wit and energy. Always interested in learning, she began tennis lssons at the age of seventy (70) and was an avid sports fan. She also enjoyed reading, wildlife, gardening and cooking. Survivors include long time and loving friends, Sandy Smith and Barbara Hammel of Cincinnati, Steve and Colleen Anders and Family of Richmond, Virginia, Mike and Jeanine Fuller and Family, and William and Joyce Rouse and Family of Oxford, many loyal and loving students, friends and colleagues. ROMANIAK, Douglas David; Ex-Cincinnatian had been trade official, White House aide: Douglas David Romaniak, a former White House aide and administrator with the Bankers Association for Foreign Trade, died April 3, (1991) at his Washington, D.C., home of complications associated with AIDS.  He was 38.  Mr. Romaniak, a Cincinnati native, attended St. William Grad School in Price Hill and Elder High School.  He studied at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservator of Music before graduating from UC with a bachelor’s degree in economics and administrative management.  “He was always smiling; he was very friendly and very lovable, : said his mother, Rosemary Romaniak of Delhi.  She remembers him playing piano and organ at Masses, weddings and funerals during high school.  His favorite composer was Bach.  Mr. Romaniak was a credit analyst at Central Trust Co., from 1978 to 1980.  He then moved to Washington and received his master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University.  While at George Washington, he worked as an assistant to the director of presidential correspondence on the transition team of then President elect-Regan and as an assistant to the deputy director at the White House personnel office between 1980 and 1982.  Mr. Romaniak worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency before joining the Bankers Association for Foreign Trade.  There he was a deputy director for administration and director of research from 1985 until 1989, when his illness forced him to retire.  Mr. Romaniak’s mother said her son discovered he had the HIV virus six years ago.  Before the disease weakened him, she said, he was an avid reader and outdoorsman whose activities included bicycling, tennis and running in marathons.  He also was a volunteer fund-raiser for the National Community Research Initiative, an organization that designs research tools to determine better treatment for the HIV virus.  Surviving are his parents, Rosemary and Albin Romaniak of Delhi, and a sister, Joanne b. Riehle of Price Hill.  He also is survived by his friend, Gary Leopold of Washington, D. C.  A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at St. William William Church, 4108 W. ROOS,  David E., died December 24, 2002, after suffering an extensive brain hemorrahage. Born to Ruth and Edwin Roos in 1944. He grew up in Deer Park, Ohio. Meeting his wife of 37 years of marriage, he moved his family of three boys to Colerain, Ohio. He worked at General Electric, Evendale plant. Retiring in 1998. After that he spent his time doting on his five grandchildren, and helping family and friends when called on. ROOS, Robert L., Sr.; BOWLING GREEN, KY; Robert L. Roos, Sr., formerly of Honesdale, an instructor and salesman at the Gleaner Insurance Co., died Sunday March 10, 2002 at the Greenview Regional Hospital.  He was 87.  Son of the late Frank W. Roos and Helen Marie Rickert Roos, he was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  He was predeceased by his wife, Eva Romano Roos.  He graduated from Honesdale Catholic School; was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Battle Creek, MI and was a World War II veteran.  He served in the 100th Naval Construction Battalion of the Seabees in the Marshall Islands, then in the 95th Naval Construction Battalion of the Seabees in Iwo Jima.  He was past president of the Kiwanis Club in Battle Creek and a member of the Moose Lodge in Bowling Green and the American Legion.  Survivors include a daughter, Judith A. Czopek of Fairbanks, AL; a son Robert L. Jr. of Orange County, CA; a brother, Francis J. Spike (?) of Bowling Green; two sisters, Jean Carmody and Noreen Casper, both of Honesdale; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  Burial was at the Chapel Hill Mausoleum.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

ROUNDTREE, Bro. Cecil, -CRAB ORCHARD -  85, of Crab Orchard, Ky., passed away on Sunday morning, Aug. 17, 2008, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. He was the husband of June Pollard Roundtree, whom he married on June 21, 1988. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vaunda Strunk Roundtree, whom he married on Dec. 24, 1941. On Sept. 6, 1987, after 46 years of marriage, Vaunda preceded him in death. Born May 22, 1923, in Stearns, Ky., he was the son of William Esbon and Vica Anderson Roundtree. He was a minister for 70 years of his life and previously had served as pastor for various churches in Lincoln, Rockcastle, Pulaski and Jackson counties. He had a jail ministry for many years at Pulaski and Lincoln County jails, and he also had a ministry for the Stanford House and the Brodhead nursing home residents. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Crab Orchard. In addition to farming his entire life, he was a coal miner for 10 years and was a 41-year member of the Bricklayers and Associated Crafts Local Union Kentucky No. 17. Bro. Roundtree was a Kentucky Colonel and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. RUGGLES, George T.;  Pub. 11/28/01 Danville Advocate- TOLLESBORO -- George T. "Tommy" Ruggles, 85, of Danville, formerly of Willisburg, died Nov. 15 in Washington County. Born March 4, 1916, in Lewis County, he was a son of  the late Thomas M. and Minnie Garrett Ruggles. He was a farmer and a retired U.S. Department of Agriculture tobacco inspector, a position he held for 26 years. He was former owner and operator of Rolling Acres Shooting Preserve in Willisburg. He also was a member of Willisburg Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel.  Survivors include his wife, Wanda Coulter Ruggles; four sons, Dean Ruggles, Aubrey Ruggles and Larry Ruggles, all of Tollesboro, and Douglas Ruggles of Danville; two daughters, Carol Doyle of Tollesboro and Bonnie Walters of Sharpsburg; three stepdaughters, Brenda Scrogham of Willisburg, Freida Bishop of Frankfort and Pat Maring of Tallahassee, Fla.; a stepson, Ted Gillis of Bardstown; a brother, Joseph Ruggles of Jackson, Ohio; a sister, Christine McCord of  Lexington; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and 15 step great-grandchildren.  Services were Nov. 19 at Barbour & Son Funeral Home  by the Rev. Born Jan. 29, 1942, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Sabe and Eatha Shields Coulter. She was the widow of Tommy Ruggles. She was a member of Willisburg Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation. Survivors include two sons, Ted Gillis of Bardstown and George Douglas Ruggles of Willisburg; three daughters, Brenda Scrogham of Willisburg, Pat Noel of Willisburg and Freida Bishop of Frankfort; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Russell, Lawrence A. “Larry”, age 81, of Bethel, Ohio, died Monday evening, November 17, 2003 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.  He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 10, 1922, the son of the late Charles David and Leona Marie (Cassidy) Russell.  On June 28, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he married Catherine Margaret Bedinghaus.  During WWII, he served his country in the Marine Corps. and was stationed in the South Pacific.  He retired after running his own aluminum foundry, The Russell Company, for over thirty years.  He was an active member of St. Mary Church, the Holy Name Society, the Cursillio Movement, and the Farmers Union.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Randy David Russell, and by two brothers, Leonard and John Russell.  He is survived by his wife, Catherine “Kay” Russell of Bethel, one son, Lawrence J. “Rusty” Russell, and wife Erma, of Ripley, Ohio, two daughters, Carol Ann Dettenwanger, and husband George, of Fairfield and Catherine Ann “Cate” Wagner of Amelia, one daughter-in-law, Barbara Russell of Hamilton, ten grandchildren, Becky Gilliam of Ripley, John Russell, and wife Kathy, of Eglin AFB, Florida, Timothy Wagner, and wife Christy, of Jacksonville, Florida, Carrie Francis, and husband Chris, of Anderson, Robin Russell of Cincinnati, Chad Russell, and wife K.T., of Cincinnati, Laura Russell of Hamilton, Ryan Russell of Hamilton, David Dettenwanger, of Fairfield and Sarah Dettenwanger of Fairfield, five great grandchildren, Cassey and Cody Gilliam, Chase Russell, and Timmy and Justin Wagner.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Friday, November 21, 2003 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Bethel.  Father Don West and Father Dennis Dettenwanger will be the concelebrants.   Burial will follow in the Felicity Cemetery, concluding with full military honors.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 until 11:30 AM Friday at the Kennedy-Stevens Funeral Home in Bethel.
