The Roman Catholic priests claim special powers, that the mark they make leaves
an indelible mark on the soul, and that it confers grace.
Friend, there is no other means of salvation but Jesus Christ. There is no work
that can be done by you or a priest that will confer you any grace whatsoever,
and there is nothing you can do that will buy your way out of 'purgatory'.
This whole system of works and earning your way into heaven is called by
Catholic theology an 'economy of salvation', complete with a 'treasury of
merits' by which the Roman Catholic church claims to accomplish some of her
'indulgences' of wrong.
And no one can buy or sell in this 'economy' unless he first receives this mark
of a cross on his forehead or makes the sign with his (specifically) right hand
(exactly like it says in prophecy).
