And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb,
                                Revelation 13:11

Two Horned Mitre Hat.

We, O Lord, place on the head of this Thy bishop and champion, the helmet of protection and salvation, so that his face being adorned and his head armed with the horns of both testaments, he may seem terrible to the opponents of truth, and through the indulgence of Thy grace may be their sturdy adversary

Words used at a Bishops ordination ceremony, originally from Pope Innocent III. Pope Innocent III was notoriously bloodthirsty, launching crusades and murdering the Christians known as the Albigenses.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

                                                    Matthew 7:15

Pope sits on his throne.   Note the two horned hat and purple and scarlet colors in picture.

Pope holding a monstrance. The host of the 'victim' (the wafers) is put in this for mass. Note the sunburst flame design coming out of it.

"When the priest announces the tremendous words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens,  brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man. It is a power greater than that of saints and angels, greater than that of Seraphim and Cherubim. The priest brings Christ down from heaven, and renders Him present on our altar as the eternal Victim for the sins of man-not once but a thousand times! The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows his head in humble obedience to the priest's command."

From the book The Faith of Millions - The Credentials of the Catholic Church     (Nihil Obstat, Imprimatur)

In the old testament, a sacrifice was made by fire, but the Roman Catholic church claims to bring 'fire down from heaven' in sight of men.

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
                                        Revelation 13:13

"We see here that all the honours given to the prelate, or indeed to any other celebrant in the external rite, show him to be the representative of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Stripped of all insignia he performs the greatest act on earth; a power denied to the angels, a power possessed by a priest alone, the power to change bread and wine into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord. The power, in fact, to command Almighty God to be present on the altar, before whom even the prelate, be he pope or bishop, kneels in humble adoration."

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;

Revelation 13:14

An indelible spiritual mark . . .
1272 Incorporated into Christ by Baptism, the person baptized is configured to Christ (by the priest). Baptism seals the Christian with the indelible spiritual mark (character) of his belonging to Christ.
                                Roman Catholic Catechism
CANON IX.-If any one saith, that, in the three sacrments, Baptism, to wit, Confirmation, and Order, there is not imprinted in the soul a character, that is, a certain spiritual and indelible Sign, on account of which they cannot be repeated; let him be anathema.
                                  Council of Trent, seventh session

Not withstanding claims by Roman Catholic priests about leaving an indelible mark on the soul, you get the mark of the beast in your forehead when you believe this. The Roman Catholics baptize many infants, but they are not responsible for it. The mark is the mark of a false gospel. Signed on the forehead with a cross.

And no one can buy or sell in what Catholic theology calls the 'economy of salvation', until their soul has been 'imprinted' by the priest. This is blasphemy and the same as the sin of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8, who thought that the the gift of God might be traded. It is sorcery.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.     Revelation 14:9-12

A Catholic starting to make the sign of the cross.  Notice it is made specifically with the right hand.

The pope dressed in purple holding the Roman Catholic church's golden communion cup.

Altar Vessels -- The chalice is the cup in which the wine and water of the Eucharistic Sacrifice is contained. It should be either of gold, or of silver with the cup gilt on the inside or it may have a cup only of silver, gilt on the inside;    Catholic Encylopedia

The Chalice: is a cup made of gold or silver, but if of silver, the interior must be gold-plated. It holds the wine for the Holy Sacrifice..

In other words, "Better" churches have gold cups, poorer churches have gold-plated cups.

Conclusion: The pope is the antichrist.  The pope wears a two horned hat. He causes people to receive the mark of the beast in the forehead and in the right hand.   He has a blasphemous name, claiming to be God. The pope fulfills every prophecy to do with the antichrist.
