Just some trivia about me, interests, views, etc. I like hot coffee with cream and sweetening, and a good hearty soup when it is cold outside.Clean sheets are important, too. Hugs will make my day.
I travel quite a bit in my work. Usually the longer trips are in Germany, which I consider my home away from home. There is a little hotel in Leimen, called the Traube that is just delightful. David and Doris Reeves are the proprieters, and I always feel so welcome and at home there.
Journaling helps me deal with life. I do not keep an "on line" journal,
too private for that, but I do keep my writings on disk and in a little
book. Someday my children will read this, after I am no longer on this
earth, and be amazed, astounded, shocked and (I hope) glad to know that
their mom had a real life!
I find, once in a while, something that touches me so very deep
that the words I need to describe it do not exist.. It could
be anything from seeing a sunrise, watching a flower open or a hummingbird
suspended in front of me. Sometimes people touch my heart with their
kindness, friendship and comfort.This recently happened and I feel
blessed to know that truely good people walk on Gods earth.
This is what goes in my little book, and on a disk. Lately I have been
questioning a few things in my own life, and believe that journaling helps
with the answers.
My interests are many, and varied. I save my passion for............BOOKS!!!! Love to read just about anything, and will! My favorite author is Tom Clancy, but my favorite book is "Fried Green Tomatoes". Go Figure......
I also enjoy nature, being outside on a sunny day, or any day, for that matter.
The love of my life is my husband, Larry. Between us, we have 7 children, one boy and 6 girls. Blended family, we didn't do this on our own.Click here too see the family.
Larry lifts my spirits when they are low, isn't afraid to show emotions, and we talk constantly! He is my gift from God, the one I needed, but didn't ask for. An answer to an unasked prayer. It is important for me to remember this, especially when I am having one of those days when everything seems to be going wrong!
. I have a deep faith in God, and that keeps me on track, especially if I am about to derail the train!. I believe in love, family, friends and so many other things.
I love platitudes, and have zillions of them. Favorite is: One Day At A Time.
I was born July 1, 1953. You do the math.. A saleswoman by profession, a wife and mom by choice.
Conservative voter, and I always vote. I believe I don't have the right to complain, if I don't vote.

Family, Friends, any kind of music, poetry,
walking in a park, dancing, gardening, traveling and the list grows
and grows.
Dislikes:
Mean People, Dirty Feet, and any references to Bodily Functions.I also
hate cooked cauliflower.
