slightly sweaty while seen here bothering Los Straitjackets

again very sweat-drenched, this time with famous John Lennon

probably sweating on Miss Skeeter Davis

no sweat yet but clearly forcing himself upon Yardbird John Idan

Crack Surf Combo "The Maladroits" still attend each others various gigs,
are ripe to drop by the cave to blow an O-ring and throw a loaf,
whereupon they review film and audio footage of the band and pace like caged jungle cats...

"I dig it.  Reminds me of driving around listening to Mr. Rhythm Man on a Saturday night.
A few songs are reminiscent of "Freak Out" era Frank Zappa. Good stuff"
--Czar, UC

"an anthology, sumptuously packaged, wanting so much to like it and guess what I did!!
its got all those essential melodies and hooks I like. Cross-eyed Tammy is not the easiest to cover in the vocal department but you've done a fine job - even nailing the middle eight!! Crossroads theme - as English as Roast Beef - brings back chillhood memories of the dreadful but essential soap. I genuinely like the lo-fi feel to the recordings, it kind of captures an innocence and vitallity that over production can kill. The CD reminds me a bit of Frank Black"
--Jamie, Cornwall

"Got your cd the other day...was going to say that I'd refused to listen to it as protest over the egregious treatment of the Native Americans of this continent by European settlers for the past 200 odd years, but refrained from doing so...Thanks for covering Tammy (enjoyed the vox) and kudos for acknowledging Neil Innes and Das Quickies!"
--LGP, Los Angeles

"highlights for me on your CD are 'my diane', 'tiger'' and of course, 'tammy'.
it's quite obvious a lot of work went into the finished product.
put your stamp on it and stand behind it! keep making records!
keep up the good work!!!"
--Plushie, Los Angeles

"fun stuff. I really enjoyed "Tammy" - it has all the essential rhythms and
harmony of the original, but also a cool slowed tempo 60's surf beat.
I like the surf influence in a lot of your stuff"
--Jon, Seal Beach, CA

"such a fantastic record! listen to it often"
--Andrew, Brooklyn

"That Man Bryce" is very cool.
Great (and diverse) song selections.  "Could You Dig It?" rules - really well done.
"Ain't That A Lot Of Love" and "Pilot Town" brought back some memories."
--Dan, Cincinnati

" 'That Man Bryce' CD is a killer!"
--Pierre-Michel Doutreligne, Brussels Belgium

"good work, good Del Shannon and B.L. Riley covers, as well as the others...."
--Steve, Cincinnati

"Let me start out by saying that anyone who covers Neil Innes and The Dickies
on the same album is clearly a frickin' genius, and that's gotta be the
coolest looking CD in our collection!
I like the guitar work on Cross Eyed Tammy."
--Eric, British Columbia

"Well, you sound good to me! Lots of really sad tunes, though...."
--Rachel, Minneapolis

"I really like this cd! It has some stuff i recall from my Podly days~
Songs i forgot about! Pilot Town LA in particular. Nice job on the packaging, way Pulp!"
--Marc, Queens

"ur album sounds cool!!"
--Kelsey, Mason Ohio

"One of my friends is going to school to make movies and I was playing him
the That Man Bryce CD and he liked it alot and he wants to have some of the
songs on the soundtrack to one of his movies he is making."
--Eli, Cincinnati

"Truly rockin' disk. "Unfinished Words" is great, another Innes triumph well interpreted"
--Jim, The Pentagon

"I can't get that pilottown outta my head, bouncin' around like a pinball,
even when i was waking up this a.m., esp. your killer singing on the chorus.
Just loving pilottown and ain't that a lotta luv.
lotsa really cool stuff on there. you're doing great stuff"
--James, Cincinnati

"I really dig "My Diane" - kudos to "only what you want me to be" &
"Never thought I could". Diggin on "Jack Champagne" - more organ!"
--Erik, Cincinnati

"I really dig your last CD by the way (That man Bryce)."
--JP, NYC
