ex-Pod
drummer Marc Friedlander on lead vocals.
Bryce
does a whole bunch of the album by himself, singing and playing
many
different musical instruments, all equally badly. As engineer on virtually
every cut, Bryce was happily on the scene to sing and play often with the
other stars of the album.
Inspiration
and songs came from every direction,
including
BLUE HOLIDAY, generously donated to the album
by
the very cool daughters of the late Del
Shannon! Kym & Jody ROCK!

The 1999 Bryce &
Friends Xmas Album from your good friends at Ho-Ho!
Bryce Rhude, AKA Happy
Ho-Ho sings and plays the lion's share of the albums content but absolutely
insisted on being joined by his musician pals, for what could be more in
keeping with the whole Christmas spirit thing, which by the way is a much
reviled subject around the Ho-Ho offices.
The
MALADROITS, The Tween-Age Surf Combo, perform SLEIGH RIDE and
SILVER BELLS. The 'Droits are currently hard at work on their debut
CD, which will be issued on the Ho-Ho label, and will therefore not lack
the amazingly inefficient distribution that Ho-Ho is legendary for, thus
not depriving it of enormous scarcity and guaranteed immediate highly-prized
collector value. Better reserve yours now!
The good-time garage
rockers THE FESTERMEN
also clock in with two
numbers, both rather acerbic
in lyrical content but
full of good cheer just the same,
SANTA CLAUS and
I DON'T BELIEVE IN CHRISTMAS, which features
all five Festers trading
verses, thus giving everbody a rare chance at bat.

SPIRIT when there was time left over after a vocal overdub session
at Ho-Ho's CHICKENSHACK Recorders
Look for this genuine
Ho-Ho recording to be re-released in CD format,
complete with bonus
tracks, alternate mixes, outtakes, foreign language options, interviews,
interactive mixing possibilities, and completely different songs, players,
and concept. It will also be re-re-released on 8-Track tape, and on cardboard
45's found on the back of specially marked boxes of Quisp.
