Jennifer Aniston plays Annie Hughes, the hard-working, tolerant  mother of Hogarth.  She is supportive of her son's wild imagination, but strained under the stress of being the sole caregiver and provider for her son after the death of his father.  Aniston gives a nicely understated performance in the role, expressing the genuine love of her character's son despite the strange circumstances she finds herself in.  Annie really lights up scenes in the first moment in the diner and when she compliments Dean on his artwork.
Jennifer is widely known for her role on TV's Friends, and in She's the One, Office Space, Object of My Affection and Picture Perfect.
