Eli Marienthal plays Hogarth Hughes, a child with too much time and too much imagination, at least in his mother's opinon.  He's always looking for new pets to bring home, and stumbles upon the coolest of all when he saves and befriends the Iron Giant.  Eli brings a fresh, fun and heartfelt performance to the role, expressing all the joy and hope of his character's age.  The subtle sadness when he speaks of souls and dying to the giant is tremendous.
Eli has been in Jack Frost and Slums of Beverly Hills, in addition to other stage and TV productions.
