GOOD DAYS - BAD DAYS

Let it be known up front that I’m one of what Conservatives call “A Bleeding Heart Liberal” and proud of it.  I don’t look at days as good or bad to me each day is a new beginning.  Yesterday is history and cannot be changed.  No one knows what tomorrow will bring or be like for each day has its on destiny.  My GOD allows me to live one day at a time so I give THANKS TO HIM for that day and let things come as they may.

Good days are usually based on ones health and material expectations. You might believe it was a good day if your Doctor said you didn’t have cancer.  Another is if you had made a bundle in the stock market.  These are the kind of things we all want to hear.  The problem is that too often we don’t remember to give thanks for what we consider good days.

Bad days mostly consist of things that we can’t control.  SOME of them are loss of a friend or relative, poverty - homeless/hunger, sickness and war.  Contrary to what some people believe GOD does not bring them on.

Remember that Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, which was a perfect world and it was changed for an imperfect one when they sinned.  When these days come we have to remember that GOD is in control.  He wants the best for us and through PRAYER these days can be made better.

I believe this is demonstrated by our actions when we show that we care and help other people to overcome their problems.  When we have a disaster such as 911 or the Tsunami people tend to come together and work through these times.  When enough people pray, and believe in their prayers it can make a difference in the problem.  These conditions all pass into history and are soon forgotten as new ones come into play.  Always remember that there is someone that has a worse problem than yours.

A good day would be one started with a prayer for endurance, understanding and help for someone who has a bigger problem.

PRAY THAT EACH DAY WILL BE BETTER THAN YESTERDAY!
