| Disappointing
to see Back to Back replacing Ruff in Champaign County. Fire equipment
blocked the view of the corners of the arena from the grandstand.
Mowers were |

and dragged on as usual. Urbana is known for the biggest and best
demo derby in the State of Ohio, and Lawn mowers DON'T BELONG HERE!
They just take up time. |
| These
people expect to see cars crashing! Modified Minis consisted of only
3 vehicles and was a waste. Pick-up trucks were advertised, but absent
this year as well. Real |
| derby
action didn't begin until 1 ½ hours AFTER the scheduled start time!
Car heats were extremely hard hitting once they finally got to them, but
were extremely anticlimactic |
| because
they were halted with 6 cars still running, as opposed to narrowing them
down to the top 2 or 3. No further update was available on the condition
of the burnt driver. |
