Jim Leder's Home Page

I am 58 and retired from IBM and have been living in the Cincinnati, Ohio area all my life (hard to do while working 27+ years with IBM). I am married (Pat) and have been for the last 33 years. I have two kids, Meg and Steve. I have three main interests: ham radio, fishing and PC's.

I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1961 and have held the callsign K8CXM since 1962 (1961 I was a novice, KN8CXM). Currently I am Advanced class (now defunct) and will most likely never upgrade since ham radio has dimmed in interest for me.

My Father introduced me to fishing and I am forever grateful. Even with retirement, I don't do enough fishing. However I hope that will change.

The following links are to a couple of pages: Some nice photos of fish I caught or was part of and since I was a 'ham' in the early 60's, some exotic or unusual QSL cards I acquired (I was a DX chaser).
