A while back I wanted to see if I could hack together a whole new model set for Q2WF. I was met with little success, because, while I could find a lot of quality models, most did not have enough (or correct) skins for my purposes. I thought about using a conversion of the original Quake player model and seeing if the original TF skins would work. The only model that would take the TF skins as-is was the Quake guy from the foxed mod Generations. I ran into a lot of problems in doing this, but was able to make it work. In addition, I changed all the Q2WF media to match the TF media as well. I recently picked up this project again and have fixed one of the last problems I had: incorrectly matched up vweps. I am now close to completion and am considering a release. Here are some shots:

Here are a few shots from my Q2WF map in progress (tentatively called "The Supply Hub"). I'm having some problems with the editor I use. It seems that Tread likes to muck up alignment when the user switches zooms and grid sizes. The result is a lot of misalignments and thus you get some BSP issues. Most obvious problems have been fixed, but any competent mapper would cringe if they saw how it looked in an editor screen. I've taken a break from it and am not sure when(if) a release will be finalized. But, here is how it looks as of now:
