| Gene Kinman, of
Carrolton, Kentucky, was fatally injured at Edgewater Sports Park in
Cleves, Ohio on August 29, 2006 while competing at the 3rd Annual "Hot
Rod Old Car Drags" in his 1927 Ford Model A.
Kinman lost control of the car after crossing the finish line, hit the
wall where the car rolled over on the partially ejected driver causing
severe head trauma. At the time of his death, he was survived by his
his wife Wilma, a daughter, a son and three grandchildren. Kinman also
served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Gene Kinman is buried
in the Warsaw Masonic Cemetery, Warsaw, Kentucky. |
