    "Cincinnati Motor Speedway" by Russell C. Stone. This book was written by Cincinatian Russ Stone and takes an in depth look at the Cincinnati Speedway from its inception in 1915, its inaugural year in 1916, and its demise at the end of 1919. The book contains black & white copies of photographs, news articles and blueprints of the track. A copy of the book can be found at the Downtown Cincinnati Public Library.
    "Cunningham Sports Cars: American Racing Legends 1951-1955" by Karl Ludvigsen. This book takes a look at the Briggs Cunningham Sports Cars and their emergence as a force in Road Racing in the early 50's. The book is published by Iconografix (October 2003) and is available at www.amazon.com.
    Middletown Pacemakers: The Story of an Ohio Hot Rod Club, (Images of America series) by Ron Roberson. This paperback book features nearly 200 historic photographs and follows the extraordinary history of the Middletown Pacemakers from cradle to grave.     April 26, 1954, Time Magazine, "Millionaire at High Speed",  about Cincinnatian Briggs S. Cunningham II and his quest to build an American built Sports Car capable of winning some of the more prestigious sports car races in the world.
    July 1965, Hot Rod Magazine, "Done to a T",  by Lynn Wineland about Cincinnati NHRA Drag racer Norman Ries and his "T" Rail Dragster Lick M & Stick M.
    March 1970, Rodder and Super/Stock Magazine, "Vette Vibrations", written by Jan & Gene Karst about Dick Weinle's injected 1969 Corvette A/G Class Hemi Gasser. The car is featured on the cover of the magazine. The article is two pages long, contains 3 photos, and chronicles how the car came to be.
    June 1983, Open Wheel Magazine, "To Go So Fast", written by Bill Holder about USAC competitor and Saylor Park native Greg Staab.
    May 2000, Open Wheel Magazine, "The Cincinnati Race Bowl", written by Terry Reed about the Cincinnati Race Bowl. Article is eight pages in length, contains six photographs, and covers some history of the track and highlights much of the Midget Car history that was held at the Cincinnati Race Bowl.

Article looks at the upgrades made to the facility in 2003, and the expansion of the race tack from a 1/4 mile to a 3/8 mile in 2008. A look at the variety of the 2009 schedule, which includes the 29th Annual Dirt Track World Championship Late Model race. Promoter Dave Rudisell also explains how became the new man in charge at the 'Burg, and how the people he has hired to help him have make the transition go smoothly.
