    Directions:  Take exit #7 off  I-74/I-275; turn right on S.R. 128 (north) 7/10 mile to Harrison Ave. (in Miamitown), turn right, go 1/2 mile, take the first right, East Miami River Road, track is 3.7 miles on your right.
    Brief History: In 1953 Edgewater Sports Park was built on 200 acres by the Minges Family. The facility opened as a 1/4 mile paved dragstrip in May of 1954, and remains that way today running Friday night Test and Tune, and Saturday night NHRA Division 3 Bracket Racing events. The track elevation is 492' above sea level. Edgewater Sports Park is the home of the NHRA Division 3 Team champs in 1982, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, & 1999. Current owner Dick Weinle bought the track in 1978 and has run Edgewater Sports Park since 1979. Edgewater Sports Park runs the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Racing Series.

    Saturday September 24, 1963 | Drag Racer Herbert "Herbie" Marx, Jr.; Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio; Car: Drag Car
    Drag Racer Herbert Marx died after his car's throttle stuck, and in trying to slow the car down, the car rolled over multiple times throwing Marx from the car. The accident happened on Saturday September 21, 1963, Marx died 3 days later at Good Samaritan Hospital.

    Drag Racer Dennis Baker died from injuries and complications after the throttle stuck on his dragster causing it to roll over. The accident happened on Friday June 1, 2001, Baker died 4 days later.

    Sunday August 20, 2006 |  Driver Gene Kinman; Hometown: Carrolton, Kentucky; Car: Figure 1927 Ford Model A
    Drag Racer Gene Kinman died after his Ford Model A hit the wall and rolled over, partially ejecting Kinman. He died at the scene.
