Brief History: Paramount Kings Island Amusement Park in Lebanon, Ohio hosted a bit of Cincinnati "Motorsports" History on October 25, 1975 when motorcycle  daredevil Evel Knievel jumped a record breaking 14 school buses. The jump took place in the Kings Island parking lot, and was shown live on ABC's Wild World of Sports, a broadcast that still stands as the most watched Wild World of Sports TV show of all time with a 52% household audience share.  The Kings Island jump occurred some 5 months after Evel was severely injured at London England's Wembly Stadium, where he was unsuccessful in jumping 12 double decker buses on May 31, 1975. Evel Knievel passed away on November 30, 2007 at the age of 69. On Saturday May 24, 2008, Evel Knievel's son, Robbie Knievel, successfully jumped 24 Coke0 delivery trucks in the Kings Island parking lot.
