| Directions: Take exit 16 ( Lawrenceburg/Aurora) from Interstate 275 (west bypass around Cincinnati) to U.S. 50, Turn left (west) on U.S. 50. The Lawrenceburg Speedway is 1 1/2 Miles on the right, at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds. |
| Brief History:
Opened as a 1/2 Mile at the original Fairgrounds located across the
street from the current track. The facilities at the current location
underwent major renovations after the 2001 season, when new walls,
catch fence, Main Grandstand, Concessions, Restrooms, lighting and
other improvements were made prior to the 2002 season. Major changes to
the facility, including lengthening the tracks size to a 3/8 mile,
began in early 2008. Other upgrades included a wall around the
entire track, all new catch fence, grandstands in turns 1 and 2, pit
grandstand in turn 3, all new Musco lighting, new ticket office, new
pit tech/inspection building, among other numerous improvements. |
