    Brief Track History
    Track:  Defunct - .75 mile long Hill Climb that graded 10 to 15 percent (1905, May 19, 1906)
    Track Location: Hill Climbs were held on a 3/4 mile stetch of Paddock Road (Rt. 4) somewhere between Ross/Tennessee Avenue and heading south towards Reading Road near North Avondale. Paddock Rd. splits the Avon Fileds golf course.
    Brief History: The May 19, 1906 climb is listed as the second annual event. No information has been found on the innaugural event, held in 1905.

    Event Notes: The race was held under the auspices of the Automobile Club of Cincinnati. Attendance was reported to be 5,000 spectators and 400 cars that lined Paddock Road. Val Duttenhofer and Foster Bradley were managers of the course. Joseph Monfort was the starter, Harry Walters assistant, and L.S. Colter, A.B. Hyle, J.D. Allison and L.G. Oskamp were judges of the finish.
