Project: LEEDS Certified FirehouseDescription: This was a project created in an architecture studio that focused on environmentally responsible design. Our assignment was to create a firehouse that responded to the natural conditions of the site. I utilized elements such as water collection and water retention ponds to control runoff from the site, solar energy capture, passive heating and cooling, movable shading devices, day lighting, and use of "green" and local materials. I performed very well in the studio.
