And so we begin. We've had a site dedicated to Ruby since she was born, but we had nothing for our whole family. We have plenty more pictures and stories to share than just what's on Ruby's site (like we're actually going to get an audience). I talked with Thuy and we both agreed that it would be good to give our other kids equal time in this web publishing bonanza.I remember tinkering with MoveableType but never gave it much of an effort. I found Pivot and liked it because it was A) easy to install and B) required nothing other than PHP (don't want to pay for mySQL through my ISP). We'll see how this turns out. I'd really like to be able to upload photos/stories as we can and I hope this tool makes it easy. Here goes...
Wow. Originally, I uploaded the whole photo, which was huge and messed up the whole page. Then I created a thumbnail and linked it to the larger photo (click the thumbnail to see the big picture). That's much better.
